In this episode GA visits the Clovis Wolfe Manor in California.  GH also did an investigation at this location in November 2008 (they called it Clovis Avenue Sanitarium).  I can't recall too many details about the GH episode, but lucky for me Logisti did a write-up for the episode on November 19, 2008, so that was a good refresher!

I do recall that, during the GH episode, the owners said something about unexplained 911 calls being placed from the location, and I do remember GH debunking this.  From Logisti's write-up on 11/19/08:

"One solid piece of last minute debunking was delivered by Amy Bruni, who was researching the owner's reports that 911 had been dialed from the building multiple times despite having no working phone and most of the lines being cut. It turned out he might not have working phones but he had a working phone system and the particular type of system he had was programmed to call 911 automatically in the event of an emergency. In fact, apparently other systems of this type are known to malfunction occasionally and call 911 for no apparent reason, so mystery solved!  Our phone lines are free from spirits for one more day. No Ghost in the Machine to worry about just yet."

The owners made the same claim about "unexplained" 911 calls being placed from the locatoin  in tonight's GA episode. It's interesting that they (the owners) didn't seem to put much stock in to TAPS's debunk of this.  They're still trying to pass it off as some unexplained event for which there is no possible non-paranormal explanation.

It'd be interesting to pull up the old GH episode and see how it compares to tonight's GA episode.

I really enjoyed this episode, especially the ultra-violet camera.  The blue-violet image that appeared on the camera was surprising.  I'm anxious for the experts to either debunk or fortify the evidence.  I've watched this episode twice and I'm anxious to see more from this camera.

I am surprised that no one has commented on the Ultra-Violet camera footage from this episode.  Maybe no one watched it?  It happened in the very last segment of the show and was very impressive.  I have no experience with UV cameras so I'm hoping someone on this site can confirm or debunk it.

I don't know if there is much to comment on. I'm not that impressed, since frankly I have no idea what it is I'm seeing. No reason is put forth why this purple stuff is anything other than a camera artifact or a natural light anomaly.

No alternative explanations are put froth either, simply anomaly equals ghost, and that's that. I need much more info on the camera, UV-light etcetera before even beginning to understand and/or be impressed.

In short, I don't trust light or cameras and frankly did it really do anything spectacular? Not really. A purple field came and went and seemed to move. I don't know what to make of it, but to be impressed I need more. In my mind, it is largely a case of more data (more light spectrum recorded) means more anomalies. We need to see more of it and about it, before becoming impressed.
