I think they were perfect gentlemen, protecting themselves from lawsuits but not skirting the issue. The copy of the video that Dave Schrader showed almost immediately is here: http://www.ghosttvblogs.com/videos.
It is called "The Throw." They couldn't get it out fast enough and Zak couldn't get out of the lockdown quick enough to find Robert.
Somehow………just can't imagine Jason doing the same thing.
Ummm…. not exactly sure where you get "perfect gentlemen" or "lawsuits" out of any of this. First, who is going to sue them – absolutely no one – and, if you think so, what do you think could possibly be the basis for a suit? This is a television show. Second, I'll just say it again …. "perfect gentlemen"? Why?
"Not skirting the issue"? Saying it wasn't paranormal was exactly that – skirting the issue. He should have just said the guy threw it. Why didn't he? Because it would have confirmed what everyone was saying. Even that video you supplied is proof positive.
"They couldn't get it out fast enough"? It was the end of the investigation.
"Zak couldn't get out of the lockdown quick enough to find Robert." Really? Did he go running all over the place looking for him? Did he ask anyone where he was? Did he demand someone find him? No. Zak and his crew were brought outside and did their little post interview as scheduled. interesting, all he had to do was merely walk over to where the production crew were waiting with Robert to explain the "controversy". As soon as Zak saw Robert being brought to position, he excused himself and walked over to try to "stop the bleeding" like he was told to do.
Jason's way of dealing with controversy is very cut and dry. It's here's what we want you to know and ignore the fallout.
