I know we don't cover Ghost Adventures as much on this website anymore, because it is just so ridiculous. Well, its interesting that they blatantly misused some 'background' in this episode.

THat's a YouTube clip showing the first portion of the episode. It uses the title from a 1972 news documentary called The Last Great Disgrace, which documented the conditions at Letchworth.
However, a quick google and YouTube search shows that it wasn't about Letchworth at all. The documentary was indeed created in 1972, by none other than Geraldo Rivera, but was about another institution called Willowbrook. In fact, the real title of the documentary they reference in GA is "Willowbrook: The Last Great Disgrace." I did some research to make sure Letchworth hadn't changed its name from Willowbrook to Letchworth, but nope, couldn't find anything.

I'm shocked that they could get away with this. Geraldo's documentary basically changed the way Americans viewed the disabled and their medical care, so I'm sure GA would need permission to use the name and images. Disgrace.
