If Hayley, the "bait" wrapped in a towel, comes with the property….then yes, I may be very, very interested.
Ok, now that the standard "girl in a towel" joke is out of the way…um…what the hell was with the girl in the towel? Are you kidding me? How was that not demeaning to their female audience?
Three other things caught my eye:
1) Not Diet Coke. - Through the entire walk-through, the owner of the place was telling his story of woe. He kept going on how he wasn't himself, how it took its toll on him physically, mentally and emotionally. How he became violent. You know…if one replaces the words "demon, ghost, dark energy, or evil" with an illegal narcotic, like cocaine…then that story starts making a great deal of sense. I'm certainly not saying that that was the case. That would be conjecture. But if you get a chance to see the episode again, try replacing all the paranormal jargon with that and see what you think.
2) It's Not Me!- I love the idea of "demonic mimicry." A demon mimics my voice…so all the words and phrases on the recorder aren't me…it's a demon. Of course it is. Why even question that? It's just so…perfect, isn't it?
3) "That's not a knife. THIS is a knife."- The owner told a tale of waving a sword at the evil spirit…provoking it. The evil spirit took offense to this, and rightly so…and grabbed the man's throat until "his boy" pulled him back. Zac, saddened that he couldn't wear a costume in this episode, borrowed the sword from the owner and tried a bit of provoking himself. Um…I know a bit about swords and…my friends, that was no sword. Not even a short sword. It was a small replica sword. In the recreations, the sword looked quite large. But in actuality, it wasn't even two feet long. It's like bragging that you have a bazooka and you pull out a derringer…

These guys really need to get something better than the piece of carp digital recorders they use. I couldn't make out the words they heard.

One story house with no interior walls. What was the purpose of going room to room? You could see everything by standing in the middle of the house.
Oh, I forgot. Logic & GA don't mix.

Forget drugs even, look at the sales history of the house and note that Chris bought the house from Nick for $1,200,000 in 8/06 (Nick had bought it a year earlier for $800,000, so he made a cool $400,000 off the deal ;) ). It looks like the house went into forclosure while Chris was there and ended up being bought by someone who picked it up for $340,000 and probably thought he could flip the property fairly easily. But guess what, he ended up in forclosure too…which probably explained its unfinished interior.
Haunted house or house hit hard by the realestate bubble? Methinks he got got by the realestate boogie man….http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1700-Bannie-Ave-Las-Vegas-NV-89102/7079853_zpid/
Anyone else think that mysterious hidden room was just the laundry room? It had the water heater in it, a larger sink, white walls, bleach smells, apparently off the bathroom…it would make more sense for it to be a laundry room then a 'killing room'….but I know, common sense is not something GA is known for-lol

As a woman I can't tell you how much on tv I find demeaning . But there is never a lack of women who are willing to be demeaned to be on tv.
I was kind of surprised that Zak didn't get naked

I just now started watching the episode and the first thing that hit me was "they didn't just do a triple take of a door slamming for drama did they?" *drags pointer back a few seconds, rewatches the footage* "I'll be $%^%#@ they did!" lol, I'm sorry but this 30 minutes for just laughs and what not and then 30 minutes for the investigation is just stupid and makes the whole experience even more unbearable. I'm just 3 minutes into it and I'm already wanting this to be over with, but oh well I still want to see what they mess up :P
As for the recorders, they are using Olympus VN-3100 PC digital voice recorders. I just happen to own that same model and every time I hear their EVP's me and my wife gets a good laugh. Its a really sensitive recorder, so all you have to do is just move your arm really quickly and you get random noises on the recorder. The noises that I get on my recorder from moving it fast or to quickly is the same noises they get on their's that they claim to be "voices". One good example is the Stanley Hotel episode. When it shows Nick in his room, he has his recorder on the bed. As he is picking it up off of the pillow he gets some noise. This type of recorder makes the same noise that he heard anytime you pick it up. It makes a scratching and a garbled type of noise. As soon as I heard it I knew what had happened, but somehow they deciphered words out of it!

Okay, so I just got done watching it. The first gripe I have with this is how they keep saying that what they are dealing with is very intelligent and is having intellictual conversations with them. Well when they bring the girl in that is supposed to look like the previous owners girlfriend, they keep going on about how she looks like her and how this is going to work. If this "entity" is as intelligent as they say then shouldn't it have picked up on them talking out loud about what they are going to do with this girl that looks like the other?
My biggest problem with this episode is when the previous owner is explaining all of his mood swings and violence that he blames on ghosts. I have had a few family members that are really close to me that has went through drug problems and I have witnessed them all first hand. Not saying that this is the explanation but the way this guy acted and the stories he told fit all of my first hand experiences. It sounded to me like he was on some heavy narcotics and started to lose control. From this he developed mood swings and acting out aggression. The girlfriend to me came off more as a girl who had been through a lot because of this guy and as a means to keep her family and others satisfied about the hard times she has suffereded because of this guy, they used the ghost stories to explain what was happening. What made it more apparent to me was when he said he was walking around with his "45" in his waist band, then he catches himself and says not because of nothing wrong just because I felt threatened. Notice also when he is describing things that he doesn't do he never once mentions drugs or drinking. Like I said this is just my opinion I could be totally wrong and out of line but that is the reality I got out of this episode.

If I was that woman hearing comments when I was taking a shower I would have taken a sledge hammer to the walls looking for a hidden camera and microphone . If I believed her story which I don't but that of course is my opinion.
Wonder if Ga gets a commision if this house sells because someone saw it one the show and buys it to give ghost tours .

Well, I just watched this episode… and I agree that all these stories seem to coming from a paranoid coked out couple. Seems to me Chris lost the house, and "hit bottom", and maybe got sober. So, thats no wonder why he hated going back to that house… Having an addiction and going back to the scene of the crimes will make your hair stand up on end… It will make you feel sick… The entire time I watched this episode I wondered "jesus, how much coke did these people do?"…
