1. As

with any episode of GA, there were some EVPs that I found less than

convincing. The "give us a chance" one was interesting, although why

the speaker would be british (like the accent of the EVP seemed to be) I

can't fathom. The "We are standing on wood" EVP was striking, in its

clarity, although the explanation given seemed to be stretching it a

bit.

2. OH, the radio static …

that machine makes me smile. Random chance could have it saying

anything,as if the power of suggestion weren't enough to set the boys

off.

3. The PX machine or whatever it is called, the one that spouts

words, was never really explained was it? If it really threw those

words out, and only those words, that is kind of remarkable. But

somehow, I doubt it. I bet they had to edit a lot of random words out.

4. And most importantly, did they find a human vertebrae in the floor?

I have searched for followup to that and found nothing, which makes me

think it must have been a dog bone or something. Any one else curious

about that?

First off, hello and welcome to the site.  The Maysville Slave House…I mostly remembered it.  They briefly showed the bone towards the end of the show, but never stated any conclusions.

I believe that you are most likely correct about it being a simple animal bone for two reasons.  First, if the bone had been human, obviously…it would have been from either a victim or the killer.  It would be their prize…their treasure.  Picture the cavemen around the monolith in 2001: A Space Odyssey  except dressed in black and waving around video recorders.

The second reason, I would think that state law would kick in concerning one finding human remains.  If newer…the police.  If older…an archaeologist.  Either way, they're shoved out of the way so the grown-ups can do their work.  They would have filmed that and would have certainly patted themselves on the back a few times for linking the paranormal to real crime.  Confused

Yes, I always had this problem while watching these shows.  Heck, I took 2 years of AP biology/anatomy in high school and I am less than qualified to identify the difference between a dog vertebrae and a human vertabrae.  That's why I give Destination Truth some credit… they bag evidence, which most of the time turns up faulty or a natural, normal explanation, and they air it on TV for all to see.  However, ghost hunters, unless they have a forensic background, shouldn't classify these things.  Also, why would these people allow GA or anybody else for that matter, dig in a historically signficant and spiritual site?  This isn't playground time in the sandbox, fellers.

I remember watching Scariest Place on Earth many years ago, and some paranormal investigators used dowsing rods and marked places of a property where there was supposedly unmarked graves.  Under one X marks the spot, they found what appeared to be a leg bone of sorts.  They contacted authorities, and police put a halt to all digging.  Just interesting, because I have a feeling that's how normal procedure would go.

and I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids!

Yeah,  wondered about the bone too and "amazingly", they get "bone" on their ghost hunting equipment. Once again, they manage to put some "cheese" in this episode with the chanting of "Ghost Adventures" from the crowd.  I didn't really make out any of the EVPs that they received. It always sounds like garble static too me.  And again, we get I'm really cold right now, but no temperature gauge anywhere in sight. We know they even possess clothing that allegedly reads this temperature change.  I thought the most interesting footage was the door closing during the interview with the religious leader and his wife.
