The boys head to Kell's Irish Pub in Seattle. Creepy stories galore. Real or caffeine-induced nightmares? Anyway…let's get to the main event…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v…..iVLLGqYP7w
They see a little girl next to the door. I see a stuffed toy rabbit (they crop the ears when they do the outline). What do you guys see? Paradolia is fun!
I have one quick observation and one typical complaint.
So…what's with the door itself? Why doesn't the angle of the door on the left side match the angle on the right side of the door? I'd like to get a real good look at that door…which…leads to the complaint…
Please…please…please…someone, anyone…get these paranormal shows to show us things in the daylight for comparison. I'm so tired of trying to figure something out staring at grainy night vision video.
EDIT: So I can't spell….

And just how do we know this isn't a ghost goblin with big ears? Yes, the ears are there, quite clearly, so the fact that they are cropped out is vewy vewy suspicious. I didn't really see anything wrong with the angles of the door sides, though I might not be looking at what you're seeing. A stuffed rabbit becomes a little child. No wonder I don't watch this much anymore lol

That's pretty funny… ….but, what other posters?
Nosfer- Yeah…cropping the ears seemed very odd to me too. I mean, if you're going to show something weird…then show the whole thing…don't make it into something that it isn't. (and for the record…I still think it's apart of the wall, but…like I've said…we have nothing to compare it to)
As for the angle of the door…I'm not crying foul or anything, just thought it was weird. Go to 1:08 (the close-up of the image, right before they outline it). I just used an envelope as a straight edge. Match it up with the left side of the door (our left). Then move the envelope over to the right side. It doesn't seem to match up. It could be just an optical illusion. Or…the door might be uneven (poor construction, warped by water, actually pushed by pressure of earthquakes, etc). In any event…it just caught me by surprise.

Why all the questions about Mr Butterworth at the site? What about Mrs Butterworth? Or would have that been too sticky of a subject for GAC?

I think it's because he's filming upward thus the angle is going to be trapezoidal. He seems to be standing on the right side of the steps so the right door edge is straighter and the left edge angles toward it. It also looks like the IR camera is a bit fisheyed or at least convexed so that might cause some distortion as well. I think the main source, though, is that he's filming up a set of stairs and thus the top of the door is farther away than the bottom, sort of the same as standing in the center of railroad tracks that go to a point…which has a light…which is train bearing down on me being driven by a no-eared rabbit! Or is that a jackalope?

Hello, so I have been reading posts on this site for a short time and have enjoyed some of the conversations so thank you all. GA is a guitly pleasure of mine but unfortunatly I keep falling asleep about the time they actually go and do their search but this one I had to watch since I am from Seattle.
I was surprised that they actually where pretty tame this time around, no real over acting (I was disappointed as that is my favorite part) but when they showed the picture of the "little girl" I was laughing as it looked like a giant cockroach to me. Now dont get me wrong if they managed to capture a giant cockroach standing upright at the top of the stairs I think that is much bigger then getting a picture of a little ghost girl.
Was it just me or did the couple who were looking/verifying the picture seem that it was no big deal? Isn't that the holy grail to get a picture of a ghost?

First…hello and welcome to the site…
Um…that couple has been around for a while. They've appeared in various episodes, including the live Halloween special last year. They have been listed as "EVP experts." Since ghosts have not been proven to exist…therefore EVP's have not been scientifically proven…how one (or two) become an expert in such things is beyond me. And since there is apparently no pressing criteria to become an EVP expert…botta-boom, botta-bing…I dub thee, Morticia, to be an EVP expert as well. Congrats. Be sure to throw that title around at Xmas parties!
As far as their reaction…well, you bring up a point that has been bounced around here many times. There are actually three reactions that we look at. The first…when the event actually occurs. A great example of that is the infamous "Collargate" with GH. Jason desperately tries to walk away from Grant and change the subject. His reaction to Grant's collar being "tugged (some say by a ghost, most everyone else says by fishing line) tells you all that you need to know about it. The second reaction is during the review. Unfortunately, we see this all the time with DT now. During the review, they just sit there and sort of wonder aloud what that shadow or FLIR blurb could have been. Great. If only we could get them to ask those sort of questions DURING the investigations. Well…a man can dream can't he? Anyway…they sit there and marvel at what they "caught." Rarely do they ever go back to the "scene of the crime" and prove to us that any of it is even remotely something that we should consider as paranormal.
Lastly…the final reaction. When all the dust settles, where do they stand on their "evidence." DT once found a footprint of a Yeti/Bigfoot and held a press conference in that country. They felt that they had physical, tangible evidence of something. What about the other shows? If Zak really thought his rabbit/ninja turtle/giant cockroach….er…I mean little ghost girl was real…why not hold a press conference? Why not get on CNN and then do the talk show circuit? Funny how they never do, isn't it?
As you say…the holy grail…only to be shown in one episode and rarely ever discussed again. Well…unless you're talking a guy in a sheet literally wearing Chuck Taylor gym shoes running around in a dark prison (infamous GH clip)…you place your holy grail on the shelf and move on to find another one. Doesn't make much sense, does it? Then again…not much of this stuff does…
Nofer – Good call on the camera perhaps being "fish-eyed." Maybe. And…jackalope…
Learjet – You know, I never look at the comments at Youtube anymore. It never occured to me. I feel like I lose IQ points when I read them…

Good tip there for party conversations. I'm tired of telling people I'm the janitor. It's expert electronic voice phenomenon analyst from now on. Anything that helps me pick up chicks.
