Good point, and I also wonder why they never drain the flashlight battery when they interact with it if they are drawing energy out of it…  hmmmm…

If the guys skin shows as white, shouldn't also the gas that's immediately expelled from his body, or at least be close in temp/color? Then again, it could all come down to calibration too I imagine – I have no experience with thermal imaging. It does look like petrol vapor, but I'm not sure what the "average" temp would be in a gas pump.

These particular IRs operate a bit differently as far as the gas detection is concerned.  Depending upon polarity, the gas cloud shows up either as black or white.  So in this case, it COULD very well be a legit video.
