After seeing the underwater investigation on "Destination: Truth" last night, I was looking around for audio clips of underwater volcanic fissures and/or vents. Somewhat hard to find. Anyway…funny thing happened along the way…I didn't find my audio of volcanic fissures, but I did find screams from Hell. Go figure…
I had heard this story and the audio a long time ago. I had always wanted to post it on SV but I never got around to it. So, without further ado…

That is the typical story. There are other versions, but generally they focus on a deep hole in Russia where sounds were heard. Now, you can follow their links to the audio clip. I had trouble with it for some reason. So if you have the same trouble…you can access the sound here as a Youtube video (only 49 seconds).
Hey, thanks for that, I got a laugh. Sounds like my kind of party.
I can't believe how many Internet sites still try to push that hoax off as genuine, or even possible.
Let's consider the possiblity there is no afterlife, but, what runs through your mind as you die is what you experience until the last bit of oxygen is spent in your brain.. maybe a bit longer. Would they want people's last thoughts to be fear and anxiety? I imagine someone who feels insecure about whether they're fit for Hell is going to actually sort of "go there" as they enter that dreamy twilight of non-existence. How cruel!!
Or, in the event there really is some kind of survival of consciousness, well, those notions could still haunt people after they're dead. And speaking of an afterlife, isn't it odd that so many people think it would be wonderful to get real evidence of ghosts, as that would prove the afterlife? But.. what kind of (after)life does a ghost have? Would you want that? Seems terribly sad, lonely, monotonous, repetitive (even for a non-residual haunting) and pitiful to be stuck somewhere for near eternity with so little ability to truly communicate or interact with your environment. You might even say it's hellish.
