So I'm sifting through news items this morning and this gem falls into my lap:
http://www.techbanyan.com/11194/lady-gaga-gonna-call-ghostbusters-video/
I couildn't find a more reputable site carrying the "story" yet this morning. Then again…how much fact-checking does one need for something like this?
And yes…let's get it out of the way. She has a very unusual fashion sense. Granted. Of course, that aspect has helped propel her into stardom and into a fortune that many of us will never see. Musically, not my thing, but I will acknowledge the talent and will also admit to "kind of" liking a couple of her songs.
With all that out of the way….does anyone else want to be there when her and her dance troupe start walking around the stage loaded with amps and lights and pyrotechnics and wireless mics and whatever else and start using the EMF meters? Outstanding. "There's a ghost here! No…there's an evil spirit HERE! Here's another one! They're EVERYWHERE!!!"
And now that this story has hit the press…I wonder how many "psychics to the stars" are simply salivating to get at her and start working their mojo. "Yes…yes…I feel a presence surrounding you. Haunting you. Chasing you. Let's go ahead and set up a five day a week schedule to help purify your aura."

Traditionally, many stage performers are very superstitious. I guess this is her way of being that.
And I am so over the EMF craze lately, it just gets sillier by the minute.

You always leave a ghost light on the stage. Tradition.
Can't stand Lady Gaggag.
Another case of hyberbole trying to hide a lack of talent.

Absolutely. I wish I knew that Lady Gaga was throwing around thousands of dollars on EMF meters. I have been working on something MUCH better…
After years of experimentation and pain-staking research, I've developed what I'm calling "Revenant's Ghost-O-Matic." It's essentially a cardboard arrow nailed to a block of wood. You spin it and whatever direction the arrow points…that's were the spirits/ghosts/astrals are. The Deluxe model has a plastic arrow. The Special Edition Super Deluxe model features a stained block of wood. The Ultra Swanky Unbelievably Special Edition Super Deluxe model has a glow-in-the-dark arrow and secret compartment in the stained wooden block filled with bandages (for those stupid enough to use it in the dark…which we don't recommend…even though it actually features something that glows in the dark. Ironic, isn't it? Well…that's our marketing department for you…).
And I defy anyone to prove that it doesn't work as well as EMF meters for finding ghosts.
P.T. Barnum would be so proud of me…

Beaten to the punch? Not so. I am well aware of the mighty Ovilus as this year old thread shows…

My product is wayyyy different. And…the best part, mine does not suffer from any sort of potential power drain. And since my product does not use a traditional power source…it is essentially "demon-proof." So, you know…there's that…

Careful posting links to old threads, some people don't like that LOL I _do_ think, though, that your device might lead to more false positives than the K2 in some cases. By design, the RGOM is going to indicate the presence of a ghost every time it is used whereas the K2 may fail to light up in the absence of horrendous fields (you know, those 0.5s and even those, gosh, 1.1s!!) and give an actual correct reading (nothing there) The RGOM is more consistent, though, and probably will not light up when a walkie is keyed, thus it would seem to be more tamper-resistent :)

Touche. I'm not in the habit of scouring old posts and such, but if you're not going to be a dick about it(at least, as far as skeptic forum standards go), then I bow to you sir. : )
But….can it speak to Gaia, and is it compatible with my Ipod? For that matter, can it speak to my Ipod, and is it compatible with Gaia?
