WHY are they resurrecting this fraud for the umpteenth time?  Everytime I see something about, or someone buying into, the fakery, my disgust reaches new heights.  Does this Lutz survivor need $$$?  If so, this is an upsetting way to get it. 

This was a terrible tragedy–a family murdered by a drug addicted member.  OK, so it seems they weren't the model family but the killing by Ronnie DeFeo of his own siblings, let alone his parents, is the real horror in this story.

Oh, and let's not forget Lorraine Warren's profiting from this.  I don't even want to go there….

One last thing.  A subsequent owner had the house altered and address changed so people wouldn't make pilgrimages to it.  This had become a serious problem as some were even tearing out pieces of the lawn as souvenirs!  Well, thanks to this film believers in the supposed paranormal activities in the house will now know exactly what it presently looks like.  Look for renewed interest and idiocy in the coming months, including, as Patrick has written, paranormal investigators once again going bananas over what is a real life tragedy.  For shame.
