In the June, 2009 edition of Scientific American, Michael Shermer has written a short, yet pretty interesting article called "Why People Believe Invisible Agents Control The World." It's a "Skeptic's take on souls, spirits, ghosts, gods, demons, angels, aliens and other powers that be." It can be found here…enjoy:

Thanks for the link Revenant. Definitely a must read. I've bookmarked it and am sending it to a few friends.

Which is absurd. Oprah controls the world. She's even making me type this.

Article reads exactly like something one of them would say.

We don't like it when one of you refers to one of us as them. Not even sure what that means. I just like using Italics in my sentences all of a sudden. I…can't….stop…

But… invisible agents really do control the world, in the form of quantum physics. And some of that is so bizarre it plays like fiction.
Oh well I'm off to play with the leprechaun and the elves in the garden…
