I am not sure if anyone has heard of this app (I know it is out for at least Android and iPhone). I figured I take the plunge and buy it at the hefty price of .99$ (there is an older free version as well). It is said to possibly be able to allow ghosts to use its word database, where have I heard this before, to speak to us here in the "real" world. As far as I am concerned this is just as good as the POS they use on GA but better! Not only does it have a radar but it shows the actual word, stores it, and it only costs $.99! Who is to say this isn't just as good of a ghost hunting tool as anything else we have seen.

According to the website it "…employs a proprietary algorithm to analyze the quantum flux"

Description: http://www.spudpickles.com/node/34

My experience with it:

First off, the currently place I live in has shown no strange activity nor do I have any reason to believe there are odd things going on.

The positives: A nice clean GUI. User friendly. It states it is not scientifically proven to detect ghosts. It logs the date, time, and word spoken. It costs less then 1$. It won't randomly spew out words for no real reason. For some reason when I am downstairs it says nothing at all for hours, when I go upstairs it spews out words in chunks, so there has to be some actual condition to set it off. It has a really high number of words, even names and places.

Cons: Haven't seen any words that make sense. People seem to really reach for explanations of words.

All in all I think its a nice little entertainment piece which maybe you can get lucky with and freak people out.

I have this app on my phone, and used it to amuse my friends at a "haunted" restaurant in New Orleans. (They're all haunted, actually.)

The app has evolved over the years. It started out as just a radar app that showed random blips… ahem… blips according to a "proprietary quantum algorithm." (Pause while my software engineer's brain explodes.) They added a bunch of features, including the random word generator, after the popularity of the Ovilus.

What do I think of it? Part of me sneers with disdain. The other part wishes I'd done it first.
