I'd sure go for the fly explanation here. The way it darts off screen is not logical. The article implies that the ghost is seen polishing tables or something like that…ie interacting with the present physical layout of the bar. If that is so, then why when it darts off does it appear to go diagonally up and across a wall?

The point about the jittering motion of the camera is interesting, too.
