What do you guys make of these?

http://web.me.com/psience/index.html

http://web.me.com/ghostchasers/

Supposedly these two groups are in a competition to be the winner of a 52 episode TV program of their own. Yeah right.

It seems that some bored Australian UNI student has had enough of the paranormal moo poo and is now taking the mickey out of ghost hunting. To what end I'm not sure but the websites are as funny as hell. For example, the title of the first website "Centre of Research for Applied Psience" becomes the acronym CRAP lol. And there are many other hidden treasures throughout. Take a look at the proof and evidence page. Coffee alert! Put down the cup before viewing! Lol.

At no time do they admit the moo poo, even in the reply to the email I sent them.

Now I know many paranormal investigators are "mentally challenged", but I just can't believe they can be this dumb lol especially since the spelling and grammar is of high grade.

Watcha reckon?

I think it would be great to have a ghost hunting spoof series.  In some ways, it may actually help out legitimate investigators to have a program that spotlights the ‘investigative’ techniques now used on all the current entertainment ghost hunting shows.  Maybe help deflate some of those egos out there and bring them back to earth.

Learjet,

Crazy is the best word.  Both sites are laughable at best.  Searching the internet and finding so many scientific groups?  Not only did he put this "grouse" site together, there is absolutely no proof of anything provided on the site.  I also love the fact that the wife of 16 years could only be described as a former game show model in the 70's.  Wonder what that implies? Wink She supposedly knows PR and yet there is no PR on the site either.  You're right, the spelling and grammar are Laughing of such high quality.  Funny thing is, I immediately recognized two of the paranormal groups they listed as TAPS affiliates who have also posted here on SV as hit and runs.

Ghost Chasers – Funniest was the pink and flowery Barbie camera they use to capture evidence along with the dream catchers.  Second funniest was in their news.  Guess she was certain about 2009 as well.

"News 10 November 2009

Some very exciting news.  I have submitted my application for Psychic of the Year 2010.  I'm certain that I will win it this time round."

The pilot page was hysterical.  Apparently they were told they had to acknowledge the competition so they took a definite swipe in their very first sentence by setting themselves up as the biggest and best and then reluctantly acknowledging the other group they were competing against in the next paragraph.  And, just like the first, no evidence whatsoever.

What a mess.  Thanks though for a good laugh or two or three or four……

One of those groups is a group out of central Indiana, where I live, called IGhost. They take themselves waaaay too seriously, if you know what I mean…Wink

I suppose the two Extreme Paranormal episodes don't really count as a series …

But there is still hope -  I think  Paranormal Cops  is still supposed to air on A&E

Doc, I did a quick search and posted on Paranormal Cops in the thread that was started earlier this year under 'Other Shows'.  Looks like they are ramping up but still no air date from what I could briefly see.

Oh my god — a combination of my two favorite shows — cops and ghost hunting… now they just need to figure out how to add Judge Judy in there, and I will be in heaven.
