If anyone is interested livescifi.tv, which broadcasts ghost investigations "live and in real time" according to their website, will be at the Villisca Axe Murder House this Tuesday, August 4th starting at 9 pm EST (6 pm PT).

The concept is the same as GH's live shows.  They say that the audience can interact in real time with the investigators, which if done properly can be entertaining.

I don't know how good this group actually is.  Although I for one do not think the Villisca House has had any true paranormal activity to consider from a scientific viewpoint, it still might be of interest to some.  I'll try to catch a portion of it if possible, as this horrible crime has intrigued me ever since it came to my attention about 10 years ago.  The house isn't all that big so this will be a tight squeeze for those physically participating.

Also of note is that from Sept. 23-28, this group will be going to the Suicide Forest in Japan.  I remember that when Josh and company did a show from there, I was so creeped out that chills were literallly running down my spine and every little noise made me jump out of my seat.  Simply taken on its own merits, the Suicide Forest has got to be one of the creepiest (and saddest) places on earth, and not just as far as ghost investigation is concerned.

For those unfamiliar with the horrible Villisca murders, here's a good website:

For those interested in the major unsolved mysteries from the annals of US crime, Villisca is near the very top of the list.

Oubliette,

Sounds interesting.  Will try to give it a watch as well.  I agree with you regarding the Suicide Forest episode on DT.  That was a very sad place and very chilling that I jumped a few times myself.  Thanks for posting this info.  Smile
