I saw the Dibbuk Box for sale on ebay, and read the sttory behind it, but know little about it.
Who ever currently owns the thing ought to contact a rabbi to see if there really is such a thing in jewish culture, and if so what does the rabbi recomend doing with this box. Should it be burnt, or blessed and buried? I think I have heard of a dibbuk before.I guess it's like a ghost or demon.
On one episode of RugRats on Nikelodeon, Grandpa Boris was up in the attic of his house going through some things in the attic with the kids.I recall him telling them some story about a dibbuk, and the hero getting his klobbermeister to wack the dibbuk.
might be interesting to go to a jewish website, and maybe ask about dibbuks and dibbuk boxes.
