Cryptomycota, an entirely new branch of life.  Yup, we're still learning and discovering.  No, the people involved did not call themselves cryptozoologists.  Well, what's in a name…new life has probably been discovered. Laugh

Too funny….can you imagine the conversation between two cryptozoological super-heroes?

Captain Crypto and the Kryptid Kid in the latest episode of "What? Confused "

Captain Crypto:  Hey, did you hear about the new "Cryptomycota?"

Kryptid Kid:  Yeah, really exciting.  Um…what is it exactly?

Captain Crypto:  I think it's a mushroom or something.  Wait, no…way smaller.

Kryptid Kid:  So…it shoots poison and shocks people like the Mongolian Death Worm?

Captain Crypto:  Yeah…um, not so much.

Kryptid Kid:  Hmmm…can it take control of your mind or blink in and out of our dimension?

Captain Crypto:  I don't think…um, yeah…that wasn't mentioned in the article.

Kryptid Kid:  So, er…what does it do?

Captain Crypto:  Well, basically…it hides in a pond on a college campus in England.

Kryptid Kid:  Oh, I didn't ask where it was, I asked what it did.

Captain Crypto:  Yeah…kind of the same thing really…

Kryptid Kid:  Oh…

Captain Crypto:  Yeah…

*Both start kicking the dirt a little and fiddling with their capes*

Kryptid Kid: So…um…yeah.  Hey, did you read Nick Redfern's latest article on crop circle creatures?

Captain Crypto:  I know, right?  AWESOME!

the end?
