Think the Montauk Monster got lost on vacation.

Hard to look at those pictures. Should have told him there was a heatwave and drought down there. Should have gone north to Warwick, RI. I hear there's a lot of hot air in that town.

I don't think I even need to put my detective hat on for this one. Compare the pictures in that article to this. So…yeah…mystery solved. *fist bump* On to the next…

This was on the local news here. it's either a mexican hairless dog or a coyote.
Probably will turn out to be a coyote. There have been several around this area,Elemndorf near San Antonio, Cuero, and Goliad. The one caught on the dashcam of the Goliad County Sheriff's car however was alive. It might be that there is some sort of mutation going on in some of the coyotes around here, like what produced hairless dog. hard to say, but there seems to several running around so I can only assume there is somewhere a breding population of these things.lots of area out here for them to roam.

Wow, alicat…. wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? The chupacabra started out as having scaly, reptile-like skin, quills down its back and a terrible stench… yet now, anytime someone finds a coyote or wild dog they assume it is a chupacabra! Kinda funny how the appearance is nowhere near the same but the news is going to jump all over it. Must have been a slow news day. I don't think this chupacabra will even get its full 15 minutes.

No Queen, I'm just tired of all the endless rambling and off topic comments that have lately been posted by HD. Let's just let it drop there.

I actually agree with this. The earliest reports, from the mid-'90's, seem to describe something else entirely from what people are claiming today. Here's a drawing of what Queen is describing. That was back when the chupacabra was still of either alien descent or the result of some top secret military "super-soldier" project that had gone awry.
Over the years, it seems to have switched gears and become an "unknown animal" and basically the property of cryptozoology (although I highly doubt that most want anything to do with it). Perhaps it does make a bit of sense though. Not many people are used to seeing dogs, coyotes, or coy-dogs in the later stages of mange. They do seem "scary" and odd. And anything scary and odd makes the news on a slow day. Since the networks just can't go with "Coyote With Mange. Film At 5:00." they work the monster or chupacabra angle. And since the existence of the alien/super-soldier being is dubious at best…no one really cares to stand up and correct them.
Actually, it's kind of interesting to see how the story of the chupacabra has developed over a relatively short amount of time.

Yes i did. That's why I said what i said. It's nothing like the original Chupa that was running around in Puerto Rico some years back.I was just speculating that perhasp these coyotes might not just be a case of the mange.
By the way, on the TAPS18,someone mentioned they found another dead supposed Chupacabra
near Stillwell,Oklahoma.

Thanks for posting that drawing, Revenant! The coyote they found looks nothing like that. I would love to see an original chupacabra… that would be a freaky sight!!! Who knows… maybe the chupacabra will be spotted getting into an alien spacecraft (aka, UFO).

Thanks HollyDolly. You input is appreciated. It's just that some of your posts go off in a totally different direction and ramble which makes it very difficult to read and is somewhat offputting. I know you are trying to make a point and I want you to do so but it helps to understand what you are saying. That's why I say you need to stay on track because it appears, when reading your posts, that you are not reading or understanding what is being said. I've been trying to get your attention to this in the past but it hasn't worked. Since this was the one thread I knew you would read, I'm glad you did.
