Way too soon Brenda…you're supposed to wait a few posts while various unheard of and imaginary creatures are put forward as candidates before you post something logical :)

Werewolf with special powers? Wait, are werewolves "helio-intolerant"?

Congratulations on your 8th post! (I wasn't sure if the 1000 was binary or decimal lol)

Brenda's original suggestion _does_ make the most sense. There is a zoo there in Central Park and there was a big escape from there back in the late 1800s…oh, wait, that was a hoax lol A young Francois Monkey would look very human like and of the right color but probably a bit short, I suppose one of the young could have kept his color a bit longer as it got taller. The height of an adult is pretty close to what was seen, but they turn darker as they get older.

So what we must have then is a hat-wearing chupacabran werewolf whose father was an Oompa Loompa and his mother a dwarfish unicorn. Geez, if I had a nickel for every one of _those_ sightings!

No, you are all wrong. It had to be a naked Leprechaun. The reddish hair gave it away.  Laughing

I don't know, would have to have partaken in at least a 6-martini lunch before I'd confuse an elephant with a 3-foot hairy creature.

Oh, the orangutan…well, it's a possibility, not as likely as the hat-wearing chupacabran werewolf whose father was an Oompa Loompa and his mother a dwarfish unicorn of Leprechaun descent but I suppose it could be.
