Sorry if this has already been posted somewhere on here, I didn't see it so I thought I would put it up.

An 74 year old retiree from Ireland took an aerial photo over the Amazon and he claims that it depicts a snake that is at least 120 feet. I, myself can't much head nor tails out of most of the pic he is claiming. I see what he is claiming is the eye but thats about it.

This is a fairly old story (June of 2009) and I think we did discuss it on here but I can't find it so it may have been another conversation I had with someone offline.

The bigsnakes link above is apparently a page that has been created to raise interest in this again and interestingly enough the page seems to be mostly a plea for donations to fund another trip into the amazon.  Maybe they need to get J&G to do an investigation as an economic stimulus booster shot.

"We want to share this information with people
interested in supporting our work and our aim of retuning to the Peruvian Amazon
for a follow-up expedition."

Note the PayPal links and they do take credit cards!

I figured something was fishy with the way it all boiled down to donations, I was just wondering if I was the only person that really don't see much of anything in that pic? I see what they are saying looks like an eye but I don't see anything else that would suggest that this is anything alive, yet alone a snake.

lol, I remember seeing those other pics Nosfer when they first started surfacing in my inbox by people I know that believes everything like that and kept sending them to me. Each time had a different discription of what happened for these people to get these pics. That last pic of the black and white photo, I remember seeing it for the first time on Arthur C. Clarke's Mysterious World.

I suppose if you crossed your eyes and stood on your head and let almost all of your blood rush to your head and then squint you MIGHT possibly see something snakelike in that Peruvian one…but I sure didn't, either!
