FoF is back at it again with a ghost hunt at a museum where the ghostly figure of a man was seen walking in the background of a ghost hunt. The night that this was taped on was rainy and storming. The woman in the tape is wearing  a parka. The mass that is in the background looks like someone wearing a similar parka with a hood. The guys of FoF decide to ignore that the woman in the video is dressed in long sleeves so they try and reinact the scene with Larry who does it with short sleeves and his face exposed. Of course they never get it to look like the original, HE IS NOT DRESSED FOR IT! Then they hear a piano play and a guitar with no strings on it also plays so they go crazy and decide that we need a good old fashioned ghost hunt. They get an EVP that they believe to be of someone screaming. Nothing to impressive. An awkward funny scene insues at the "situation room". When Bill is telling about the guitar playing he says "guess what" and everyone in the room says at the same time "it didn't have any strings" I swear it sounded like they had scripted this and rehearsed it.

The Hovering Humanoid is yet another one that has already been debunked. I remember reading awhile back about this one being debunked and what it turned out to be was their is a zip line on that mountain range that is near an old mine. Some people had equipment at the mine with them and was putting their stuff in bags and sending it down the zipline to some other people. Of course FoF has to make sure because you never can be to sure of these other debunkers. They timed the video and got in touch with someone who has a jet pack. The man tells them up front that a jet pack only stays at a good height for 30 seconds. That is way to short to be their answer. But what the heck lets try it anyway just to say we saw a jet pack in action. The other experiments include a zipline test with Austin the "stunt expert", Austin running with fishing wire attached to balloons and finally the same bag of balloons being controlled by a toy plane engine.

Also I found it funny that during the yay or nay video contest that starts the show, one of their videos is the Brown Mountain Lights. They quickly dismiss it because they just did the Paulding Light. Here is the ironic part. They say their is no reason to do the Brown Mountain Lights because "they are headlights". They go to Paulding and claim it to be paranormal phenomena even though it has been debunked as headlights since 1986, yet they quickly jump on this video as not being worth their time because they believe its headlights. These people make me feel like I'm on a hangover.

It's a witch!

With the first part, the IR cameras FoF were using had much too strong IR illumination. The original footage had such limited range that a real person could have been walking just out of illumination range and produced that effect. As usual I shouted at the episode the whole way through lol.

Hmmmm, wonder what happened to the first thread on this topic…had about 7 or 8 posts in it. One of my comments was regarding that figure at Valentown…Chi-Lan saying it didn't look right with the reflection…too much detail and the size wasn't right, to which I said something pretty much akin to Learjet's comment about camera capabilities above and also that the size could be adjusted by how far away from the glass the subject was.

Didn't TAPS go to Valentown to investigate once? I seem to recall they caught some sort of shadowy human like figure some place upstairs in the building.

You're  probably right about the zipline.I'm just curious where in Texas this flying humanoid was supposed to be,since I think when this episode first came up,I think mention was made about it being in Texas, this was before the change over and the forum problems. I do know west of Uvalde  are the communities of Dabney,Blewett, and Cline, which have various mines around the area, and there are some out further in West Texas.

How in the world they came up with the idea that the Brown Mountain Lights are headlights is beyond me.

As far as I know, even native americans knew about them as well as early settlers.People have said the same thing about the Marfa Lights out in West Texas.Yet there have been reports of them long before automobiles came along. To not investigate the Brown Mountain Lights is just showing how ignorant they are.Whether they are paranormal in origin,or some form of natural energy we don't quite understand, they still are worth investigating.

It was in Mexico…they went to Texas to recreate it. Hey, at least both places have "EX" in the name, guess that's close enough. I had not seen the original debunk of this, but zipline was the first thing I thought. When Austin didn't look right, my thoughts were that it would look better if his legs were straight and also, do we know it was even a human, what about an inanimate object being transported, which is apparently what it was. I'll go into the problems with the balloons in this case in the review.

The reflection of the pulley is not an issue since it was shot at 8pm toward the sun.

Wait, how is the latter bolded text the same conclusion as the first bolded solution? Gear on a zipline the same as balloons tied to a remote control device?

The jet-pack was measured at 146 decibels, though, so it was only slightly softer than the music in these episodes.

LOL. Yeah a jet pack is too noisy so it has to be a witch.

Some people are now claiming that the FoF crew used the original video and made some editing adjustments to it to use as their evidence video at the end. Check this out:

And they don't really know what they're talking about.

The result video is the same as the original video. The only difference is that the "original video" side is zoomed and cropped to hide the timestamp on it…and this is why. The result footage used is in fact the original video but a whole minute ahead of time. By watching the original video they showed with timestamp you can see clearly that parts of that footage was re-used in their final "composite."

If it were a minute ahead in time, why would the horizons be IDENTICAL in each. This object was moving and the configuration of the the scene would be different a minute prior.

They did use parts of the original video, that much is obvious from not only what is shown but also what they, themselves, said.

They tried to blow off the Brown Mountain Lights by saying that it looked like car headlights (what about Paulding Lights??), but I think that the real reason they don't want to do this is because they have absolutely no idea how to investigate something like this. In other words, they don't have the skills to give the Brown Mountain Lights the investifation that it needs/deserves!

They really do need to get rid of the STUPID ANNOYING music!! If they refuse to do that, they should at least TURN IT DOWN! I couldn't stand it…I had to mute the sound and read the captions to finish watching this show. It doesn't add anything to the show, it just makes it seem more stupid, and that is something that they definately don't need!!!

My favorite part of F&F occurs at about the same moment in each episode.
Roughly 15 minutes into it I hit the delete button.
