Ghosts and UFOs await us again this week.

Ben, Devin, and Lanisha head to Tombstone to, yes, the Bird Cage Theater. They are there to try to recreate footage of an apparition in order to determine if it was "Fact…or Faked" Darn, I was hoping the video might be of a cable falling off a bell.

This makes three of the five episodes this half season that are have us at places that GH has been to before. I think it's time these guys start looking at the footage from those episodes.

Since they probably will not be able to satisfactorily recreate the footage, stay tuned for a ghost hunt. They seem to be morphing the show more and more towards their own "hunts" and putting less effort into the examination of the videos. I'm waiting for a cross-over where we see Amy lending her expertise (insert quote from Herbert Morrison).

I'd like to see a lot more examination of the videos in the "Situation Room" before they waste their time going out to recreate a bug. 'Ol eagle-eye Bill should be able to weed out a lot of these from the comfort of his chair.

Having concluded that the Bird Cage is haunted, we now turn to Bill, Jael, and Stunt Expert Austin (has he done any stunts this season?) who go to Los Angeles in order to check into a UFO sighting over one of the freeways. Hopefully this segment will be performed without hats and huge fans.  Not sure about the hats but there probably will be no fans.

Well, I have to admit, idk if GH debunked the footage but for one of the first times ever, they didn't do too many useless 'experiments' and actually looked like they nalied it. Again idk if that was solved before though. Of course there was a useless ghost hunt however.

The 2nd half however, didn't dissapoint. First off, I don't think the light looked anything like a UFO, to me it just looked like a reflection off the windshield or something infront of the driver. I don't know why they tried to use this high powered blue laser light, I'm suprised no one was blinded. The 2nd expirement actually half made sense but they seemed just give up too easy since they had a helicopter waiting. The helicopter wasn't even close to the video to me. The icing on the cake was when they used the voice recongnition software to see if the guy was lying. I mean if there was ever a useless product to use to prove something, that is it. The conclusion was awfulu and the 2nd half off the episode was just more of the same

In 3……2……1……!!!!

Hey Nosfer:

You have to give them credit for at least changing their clothing this season! Laugh Last year, I think every episodes situation room, except for maybe 2 or 3 episodes, they were wearing the same clothing.

As for the debunking, well like you said Skooter, they at least seemed to nail the debunking of the photograph with the old flashlight through the coffee grinder trick in the Birdcage.  In my brief search for previous debunking, nothing jumped out so it's unclear if there was any previous determination of the photo being the coffee grinder.

The 2nd half was just plain boring. They just don't do a very good job of trying to debunk UFOs so it's pointless for them to continually try. There's nothing intuitive about there methods.

They missed the color change, though…that reddish-pinkish color in the original video…

Like the Queen Mary episode, the Bird Cage probably allowed them to film a debunk there as long as they did an investigation to reassert the haunted status of the place.

I don't believe they are urged by the owners to do night investigations. I guess they just follow a script. Like, the script says which experiments they have to do, so they do those experiments one after another. Even if an early experiment yields promising results, they will proceed with other experiments instead of digging deeper and trying different parameters. Likewise, the script said to try some debunking in the Bird Cage and then do a night investigation. By accident, they actually debunked the ghostly image, but they had to go on with the night investigation to fill time.

No other show has tried to debunk the footage it was shot after GH was there.
