This week the teams try something a little different and investigate some UFO footage and ghosts.
In this week's UFO Segment, it's off to Area 51 to do a thorough investigation of some UFO footage that is tied to the "secret" base. Unfortunately, owing to their uncanny (and not in a good way) sense of geography and total lack of map-reading skills, Ben, Jael, and their Stunt Expert, Austin, end up over at Area 74 where they prove that the UFO in Close Encounters was real.
I believe this is the footage they will try to recreate (and thus debunk):
This was posted over three years ago so it looks like they are continuing to look at very recent videos.
Next, Bill, Devin, and Lanisha head to Myrtles Plantation of all places to investigate footage of a lamp moving on a table. Just kidding, but wouldn't that be a neat video to investigate?
Despite all the explanations and claims to the contrary, Myrtles is still billed as a very haunted place. I'm certain we will see another nighttime investigation sponsored by Bill. Hopefully they brought some people with experience in fixing equipment so that they aren't left blind like last week when all their cameras konks out.

Ugh, not even sure where to begin. Or if it's even worth beginning. Child's face? Caused by reflecting a light off a mirror? A mirror that has a print on one edge? A "print" that would not reflect the light and thus cause a dark spot in the reflection?

Oh…and the aerial object that went over them. Austin had a CLASSIC line there:
"It was way too fast to be anything human."
Yep, he's right. It was also way too high up in the sky to be anything human, too. And it glowed way too much to be anything human, too.

It's funny how people will associate a smudge on video footage with a ghost. Who knows what that is but why a ghost?
As for Area 51, the security guards should have shot them. Please guards, next time for the love of sanity, shoot them!
To me it looks very much like a 4 balloon cluster with a payload. All this shot through something with obscene long focal length in the range of 2000+mm. Like an 8 inch or larger SCT. I don't see it changing shape, I see it slowly rotating.
The reason I say this is because I used to launch helium balloon clusters to take up payloads that a single balloon wouldn't carry, then I'd video them through an 8 inch scope. The movements are identical. And no I can' show the video since it's somewhere on mouldy VHS tape. :-P
FoF failed to take lens focal length into account in their failed re-creation. Hence the need for them to be shooted.

Stop using technical terms that you know they wouldn't understand!
I'm not sure which of the two segments had me more dismayed…night time at Myrtles or night time at Area 51. At Myrtles it was painful to watch them suggest that "maybe" the videographer had the camera in a cold environment and then took it out to film. Maybe? For crying out loud just ask her, you spoke with her only a few hours ago and you know how to get a hold of her, after all you've still got her camera!
Why, also, do we again only get to see 4 seconds of footage? I want to see the whole set of footage when they show these.
300 years, too? It was built in 1796 if memory serves. Oh, and Chloe again?

The UFO looked to me like a cluster of balloons all along. You can see that even on a bad quality Youtube video. Somehow they overlooked that…
As for the ghostly mist, they did not show the entire clip. In the complete version of the clip, it is very obvious that the "mist" pans with the camera. So it's not some real object between the trees but something related to the lense, or just awkward fakery.
I totally did not understand the point of the "child face" on the wall. What's paranormal about a picture of some dark spots on a wall that look like a face if you draw a face over them in post production?
It is my impression that the show is evolving from stupidity to blatant fraud.
Lanisha Cole is hot, though. I'm not sure if having worked as a model for "The Price is Right" and appearences in hip-hop videos serve as a sufficient qualification for scientific investigations, but I'm going to believe anything she says.
All I need to know about this is in the comment from the videographer in the comments section of YouTube:
"I have read the posts and its good to have skeptics. Being a ghost whisperer I can see the dead. I was invited to investigate the Myrtles. The amazing thing about digital camera is the mere fact what we cannot see with our naked eye. The digital technology can pick up E.V.P. and ghostly plasma which I filmed in this video at the Myrtles Plantation. the ghost shut off the camera infrared and you can see the black mass stepping forward towards me. Its uncut and raw ghosts' footage.
Did anyone besides me, notice the tatoo on the new girl Lanisha Cole? It moved from her left shoulder to her right, & then back to her left. I think they should look into this as it apears to be of supernatural origins.
