Jael, Ben, and Devin head to the 7C Ranch near Cuero, TX. They are there to hunt for a chupacabra, er, test to see whether pictures of a supposed chupacabra are real or not. Alright, you and I both know they are going to toss their premise out again and hunt.

I suspect these are the photos they will be examining: http://www.cuerochupacabra.com/

Ben introduces the newest member of the team which is an RC helicopter with the latest most sophistimicated high-tecchy doo-dadadamajigs. Just cause it's high-tech doesn't make it a scientific investigation as they proven time and time and time again (32 separate times before this, infact). The only thing going in it's favor is that it probably is the most unbiased and rational thinking member of the team.

Then, Bill, Jael, and Austin go to Argentina, well, stay in Argentina considering where they were last week. I wonder if they will "Pull a DT" and try to make us think they are going back down there or if they'll tell it like it is?

Having already debunked a swing set by accident, the team now turns it's attention to an alien that was seen on a news broadcast.  It looks an awful lot like the very first(?) case they did with the stick figure going across the lawn.

This is the most likely video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v…..PbwvADO2jY If you take a look at the poster's many other videos, you'll see a fixation with UFOs, extra-terrestrial architecture, etc. Here is the first sentence from his profile. You do the math: "Many debunkers of today are hired by the CIA and NSA, to try to stop any leaked information about UFO's and make it appear that the individual who released the information is mentally unbalanced." Can we see some employment statistics to back that up?  No?  Okay….

The shadow of the "walking alien" falls to its left and behind it which indicates that the sun would be almost directly behind the camera, or even a little to the camera's left. Yet the news reporter who is facing the camera has shadow on the right side of her face. The truck parked behind her is also casting a shadow in the opposite direction as the "alien's" and the truck's shadow is more inline with the sun being on the reporter's left face. Ditto the dark part of the spare tire.

So, it's possible this ISN'T the video they investigate because surely someone should have gotten up during the review to point out that the baby seal's shadow is wrong.  If anyone comes up with a better possible video for this investigation, please post it.

Drinking situations: Any time you need one to keep going, but hold some in reserve, there's still one more week.

I'll have to look at the Alien video later, but i thought the Chupacabra deal was put to rest.

I saw about this on the San Antonio news, and they also had on there the dash cam from either the DeWitt or Goliad County  sheriff's department showing a live one of these animals running in front of their car on some backroad. That area is east from where  I'm at by 50 or so miles, and there is plenty of places for an animal around here to hide out.Cuero by the way is famous for their turkey festival in the fall, other than that, not much happens there.

Funny about Chuppie. Some building on Broadway had a sign saying, "Save the Chupacabra",which the camera guys kept panning to when they were showing live the Fiesta Flambeau Parade, from downtown San Antonio.

Someone's got a sense of humour.

Wait…are the CIA and NSA hiring?  I mean making people like Bob Lazar look "mentally unbalanced" would be a sweet job.  And really…"we" wouldn't be stopping leaks…we would be flooding the net with disinformation (and who is to say that I'm not doing that already? Laugh ).  Again, a sweet job.  Depending upon the perks (how many people can I "retire" per year and what sort of missiles my car gets)…I'd be really interested…

Oh boy, it IS that video!  They debunk the funeral parlor but and Chi-Lan comes up with long-exposure but they get excited about this alien? @$%&!

BTW, if that were a long-exposure then the "kid" should be a blur as he walks out of frame.

This story is dated August of 2007 and indicates the DNA testing is underway, yet this wasn't made known to FoF???????  They couldn't dig this up themselves like I did in about 2 minutes?

http://www.txstate.edu/news/ne…..83107.html

Results were made in January of 2008

http://www.strangemag.com/rece…..oyote.html

Although it appears the first results were that it was nearly identical to a coyote.

Wait a minute….they try to fake the dash-cam Chupacabra with a miniature horse?  NO! NO! NO!….why not just have Devin run in front of the car on all fours, and debunk it being a human?

And yes, this was all examined and numerous tests run on the preserved "Chuppie" years ago….

This show has become so mindnumbingly  idiotic that I am beginning to think it is a diabolic case of chinese boxes…."Paranormal Files…Fact or Faked?"

And frequent large electrical displays "attract" rather than "explain" Argentinian UFOs?

Yes…I remembered this case as well.  Hard to forget the female "big game hunter" from Texas who bagged a chupacabra.

What I also found distasteful was their "hey, we found something new in this coyote/wolf hybrid…we really matter."  THEY…didn't find anything.  The lady from Texas did.  And the coywolf isn't new, only new to them:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32…..e-science/

That link is from the Feral Dog thread.  In post #16, I detail what is essentially wrong with the database used for testing dog DNA, specifically centering around testing for feral dogs.  With that said, I could see some varying results for coyotes, coy-dogs, and the newer coywolf hybrid concerning this case.

I'd like to know what databases they are using.  I'll try to find out.  Something tells me that they will be woefully incomplete and not well suited for this type of determination.

I still have to wonder about the Red Herring possibility.  Speaking of which, I need to update that list from the nonsense we've seen this season.  Wasn't it interesting she had a specific place where she wanted them to take the DNA from?

Chi-Lan almost went down a few more notches in my book with her goat suggestion, then I realized that I was at the bottom of the pole already and to continue to track her credibility I would need a shovel.  It wasn't worth going out to the garage for.

So the fake ghost photo was more likely a case of double exposure…

I think it was hilarious how Chi-Lan was saying how keen the photographer was to talk to them therefore they must be genuine. Of course the photographer isn't seeking 15 min of fame/infamy.

I keep watching this show and am left thinking – this footage doesn't excite me. The "chupa" footage just didn't strike me as some mythical creature ever. I just kept thinking it's just a dog.

I was also really unimpressed by the night time investigation of part 2. I don't get why they were so excited that sea lions freaked out. There are so many natural reasons creatures freak out. Maybe they saw a shark, maybe alpha sea lion got a leadership challenge…

If they are going to bring a new piece of technology to show and tell, I think it needs more than 5 seconds to explain it. I'm guessing they didn't because it's just pseudo-science. I also wonder how much baseline readings they took.

Also, I also feel compelled to laugh at their reasoning for Argentina's UFO activity: lightning to recharge their ships. Unless their spaceships are run by Marty McFly being threatened by terrorists, I'm sure aliens remember to pack a reliable source of energy before their space and/or time travel or have a reliable source on Earth.

The seals were probably freaked out because of, I don't know, 3 crazy humans running around?  They probably just didn't want their flippers cranked.

We've disproved the video, but by all that is weird we know there are UFOs so let's prove that, or at least prove that we have a natural filling station which would attract them because of the low fuels tax…plus we won't look so bad for having supposedly gone all the way to Argentina to investigate something that our photographer should have noticed in the Situation Room.

The whole cast needs to be replaced by a half-dozen water-starved guppies.  At least things would be no worse…probably would improve a little, and we'd still have the open-mouthed looks that we've all come to know and love.

Edited: 6 crazy humans, forgot the production crew…

You know…I don't even want to give them credit for that.  They said that the video got over a million views.  I'm guessing on Youtube and maybe other websites (not sure what it popular in Argentina).  There must be plenty of comments and somebody must have seen that.  Somebody must have posted that.

I mean, think if that video was posted here at SV.  How long would it have taken us to figure that out?  I can't imagine more than 24 hours…letting all the regulars take a good look at it.

And I love how they took credit for debunking it.  They just asked the guy and he said yes.  Again, something tells me that this isn't the first time that he has admitted this.  That "si" came awfully fast and unforced.  Then he just hooks them up and shows them exactly how it was done.  Again…does any of this make sense?  "Oh, I'm going to pull a hoax, tell no one here in Argentina…where I live and work and will have to live with any sort of consequences…but I'll tell these three Americans because they have a television show that I've never heard of."  Hmmm…the more that you think about it, the less it stands up right?

Which one, the spider or the alien?  I did post the Alien here, but was a bit uncertain if that could be it given the problem with the shadows.  You see the shadow almost immediately because it is so defined and then start to go "butwaitaminute" Laugh  Considering "how quickly they debunk" from their arm chairs, surely our picture-expert should have seen that, too.  But I left it in since they DID miss the spider lol  Good thing i didn't take it out!

Doh!  You're right.  You did in the orginal post.  Excellent job.  Man…can you tell that I've had the flu and have been on meds for the past few days?  Man…I have to stop posting…I missing all sorts of things… Laugh

I think by far one of their most ridiculous episodes, it was insulting to the audience. I'm glad I didn't stay up to watch it and waited for it to be on my On Demand.

They supposedly bought what CLEARLY looked like CGI as authentic alien because a News broadcast showed it. I didn't even need the shadows to tell me that was CGI. I think it was "hey this swing one is in Argentina and this alien one is in Argentina, let's go to Argentina!" Give them credit for having different clothing on for both reveals.

The whole Chupacabra possibly mistaken for a mini horse? Really? Wow, if she was my professional photographer, I would have fired her. It looked like a dog or a coyote having a bad hair day, but not a horse of any color or size.

Was Ben fired from the FBI for this style of bad investigating? I don't know how any of these people still have a job after this episode. Nosfer you are so right when you say they all need to be replaced. Maybe with people from SV!

She was so excited to put her photog expertise to use. I was dying the way she strutted up there pointing things out and all the kids in the class gave an "ohhhhhhhh, yeah"
