I am sorry but after watching the guesses at what the object that flew across the screen was I can't even take any of these dolts serious anymore. Going back to when it was caught on film, Austin has either the IQ of a door knob or he is a horrible actor playing the overreacting, brain dead meathead. I mean when I watched that whole sequence I just watched with amazement at the stupidity taking place. I don't like to insult people but I mean come on. The second I saw it I could tell exactly what it was and that was either a bug that was close or a bird a little bit away.
Then onto their guesses…I mean a satellite…are you kidding? Forget the fact that there was cloud cover but who has ever seen a satellite with their naked eye? And one that is traveling so fast that it comes in and out of the frame in about 1 second. If you were to sit there and think about how fast a satellite would have to travel to accomplish that it would be a ridiculous number. My mind has been officially blown, I can't imagine they can go any lower. They need to remove the phrase "a team of experts" immediatly.

I have seen a satellite with my naked eye…many of them. I have also seen objects that have gone that fast across the frame (non-bug and non-bird)…meteor would have been a better question from Chi-Lan and, in that case, cloud cover would have been much less of a reason to dismiss it. But satellite, yep, not likely, that's why I said you should run to the right if you ever see that.

I am not saying no object can travel that fast, my point is a satellite would not travel that fast across the screen. I honestly didn't think you could see them with a naked eye. Did you see them at day or night?

Mostly at night (and FoF was investigating at night, too) but I've seen the Irridium sats during the middle of the day.

Well my main point was to make a guess that it was a Satellite was just ridiculous considering there were about 4-5 factors that made that impossible.

Well, that was my whole point way back when about running to the right if you see a satellite doing that and going to the LEFT

Thanks for the link. I guess I was just thinking about where I live which is right in NJ right in the middle of a bunch of Major cities. I don't think that would make a difference during the day but I'll have to keep an eye out to see if I can see something moving too slow to be a plane. Either way she is a dolt for taking that guess and I am convinced Austin was dropped on his head as a baby, several times.

It's not the speed of the object so much as the absence of the blinking navigation lights. It will just look like a moving star.
Edited: If you want to see them in the day, you're going to have to concentrate on the irridium ones and do some advance planning. Try:
