I happened upon this today and thought I would share it. This one really intrigues me because they discuss what their personal favorite cases are and some of the answers really intrigue me since one of Ben's favorites was the infamous spider web one.

It worries me to hear them say that in future episodes they will be taking on more controversial cases. It's bad enough that they have caused the rebirth of some tourist traps with their stamp of paranormal approval, but to have them try and tackle famous cases just makes me cringe. I read somewhere today but forgot which site it was I seen this on, but I am hearing that one of these "controversial" cases is the moon landing studio myth.

Ben says they aren't going to investigate any videos that they already know are faked. They must be really bad researchers then since the ghost kids pushing vehicles onto the train tracks in Texas was explained long before FOF "figured" it out as stated here many times already.

Exactly Hobart. The video they used for the Paulding Light case was actually the video used by an investigator with a telescope who debunked it, they just showed the first of his 2 videos. The first just showing how the light reacts and the second being the light through his telescope which showed cars. You also have the UFO case which was already solved before it aired so technically that was a fake as well. In the case of the train tracks in Texas, they just made themselves look like complete idiots. Its bad enough that one of them grew up around this area and should have known it was fake, but for anyone to call themselves experts they should know up front about downgrade optical illusions, which every state has one which gets a big ghost story started. Heck, theres 2 spots here in Kentucky that is the same way and both have a ghost story attached.

These are the next two epidsodes
"Sasquatch Sprint/Alien Attacker"
Bigfoot footage captured at Chopaka Lake, Wash., is scrutinized, and Ben interrogates Dr. Jonathan Reed about his alleged alien encounter. Original Air Date: Nov 11, 2010
"Mystery Mermaid/Ghostly Guardian"
Ben seeks mermaids off the coast of Cairns, Australia; photos of a guardian angel are scrutinized in Mililani, Hawaii. Original Air Date: Nov 18, 2010
I found this site on Dr. Jonathan Reed

Interesting read Hyacinth, thanks for that. I had forgotten about the Reed UFO story but after reading that most of it came back to me. I find it odd that he still goes by Dr. Jonathan Reed even though it was found to be a fake ID and pretty much everyone in the UFO community knows his real name. He probably took the smart approach to keep his hoax going, look for the dumbest show on TV and get them to give you some credibility. Looks like FoF is going to do it again.
