Josh & Co follow up reports of voices by experimenting with the echos from the surrounding hills and canyons. Since this provides a possible explaination for the reports, the reports are dismissed.

Josh and Co. hear footsteps, Ryder reports seeing movement, the Flir shows what could be a human figure, yet NO experimentation is done to see if actual footsteps would be heard, or if an actual human would appear on the Flir as was shown .

Jay and Grants' expertise boils down to " Yup, it looks like a person – you say no one was around ?  – then we declare it paranormal and amazing "

Are we supposed to believe that Israel leaves this important area completely abandoned at night ?

Yeah, I watched the episode too.  Didn’t think it was one of their better ones, and the GH crossover always knocks it down a notch or two.  Overall I was disappointed especially since this was the first one of the new season.

What amazes me is when they investigate a great location like Masada, you’d think they could fill up an entire hour just on that one place alone.  But instead the half hour segment is almost totally filled with fluff material.  I mean, was this the swimsuit edition with them frolicking at the beach?

Ah well, here’s hoping in the next few weeks they get better.

I have no problem with the "fun" or tourist aspects of the show, although the beach scenes went a bit long in this case .

As far as filling up the hour, we have to believe that they showed us the most entertaining parts of the investigation, so more time would have simply been more  images of green people walking between anonymous piles of green rocks.

My only suggestion would have been taking the tram and using the extra daylight to show us some of the area up top before dark.  Not sure what the hike up the hill was meant to show us or what good it did for them besides a check mark in Josh's "things to do" list. Perhaps in their show menu they need to incude somthing physicallly challenging, like the cave exploration ?

I have a suspicion that Josh puts Jay and Grant in the same catagory as the pub owner with the Leprechaun skeleton – he knows they will not let anyone else check their evidence – it would be bad luck.

i haven't seen either episode, but am curious what happend with the leprechaun?

Doubt the skeleton if real was that of a leprechaun, maybe a small child or midget or dwarf and I'm sure the pub owner had some hokie story to go with it.

The hokie story had something to do with a chicken whose four-leaf clover didn't provide him with enough luck to keep from being made into "wings"

All I will say about the figure: They are in the Synagogue and see the figure by the tower. Josh says "Let's go check it out" Then they go after it on a rambling search through the ruins, going this way and that and end up by the baths where Josh asks if this is where Ryder saw it, and she says yes. Josh says he thinks they are at the old bath house.

Problem is the baths are at the very north end of the mount. They were in the synagogue which is on the western side looking toward the tower. They were looking just a tad south of east to see the figure. So, how the heck can they end up some 250 feet north of the tower and say that's where they saw the figure? The path to the figure should have been just an open walk across the plain of the mount, no ruins to go winding and wending through. Causes a little "belief" problem for me.

Oh, and that Oldest Synagogue in the World story that Josh gives…sorry but that is absolutely NOT true.

Leprechauns, Mermaids, Faries? Who comes up with these case studies? They should at least  investigate things that have a reasonable degree of believability. These are more in the realm of fairy tales than possible cryptids. What's next……………the Man in the Moon? "What the Hell was that?. Did you see that? He just winked at me, I swear to God.

I am also amazed at how easily Ghost Hackers, Destination Lies and Fact or F*&#?d all seem to lose targets on the Fleer. They are always there one minute and then duck behind a tree and disappear. These things light up like the moon in the night sky and then they're suddenly gone? So many examples of this. Monster Quest had Sasquatch throwing stones at them yet nothing showed up on the Fleer and they didn't go out and look?

Find it you idiots!
