Editors Wanted
I started this site in August of 2007 and was lucky enough to have Stephen (whom many of you know from the podcast as well as his posts) contact me asking to contribute. It's a big (practically infinite) job trying to look at all of these different phenomena, examine the evidence people have collected over the years, research the expert analyses that have been published and so-forth, so I was really excited to have him come on board very early on.
Since then, we've expanded the site a lot and we just don't have the time (or the expertise) to write all of the articles the readers of this site deserve, so if you have a penchant for writing, a keen interest in a particular area of "fringe" science, and are willing to dedicate some of your spare time to make SkepticalViewer.com an even more awesomer-tastic ™ place to hang out on the web then contact us about becoming an editor.
Get in touch with us and tell us what you'd like to write about, whether it be a specific television program (like UFO Hunters) or a particular area of "fringe" science, like psychic phenomena. It's a volunteer job so there aren't any quotas to meet (just like there isn't any pay! bah, humbug!!) but if you think you've got one or two good articles a month in you, then we'd love to hear from you and see what you can do.
Becoming an editor means your articles get showcased in the main section of the site, but if you don't think you've got it in you to be a regular contributor you can still be a big part of this site by taking part in the conversations and even starting your own in our forum.
I look forward to hearing from those of you who are interested in joining Stephen and I as editors, and I'd like to thank the rest of you for helping to make this site the fantastic community it has become. Keep up the great conversations, folks. Until next time, as always, exercise your minds and stay skeptical.
