Ghost Adventures

  • GA: Linda Vista Hospital

If you had asked me in 2004, before the paranormal TV craze reached its current heights, if a popular television show would involve detailed descriptions of dust flying on-screen… well, first, I'd probably wonder who you were and what you were doing in my house. (…)

  • GA: Washoe Club/Chollar Mine

    by Stephen
(For various reasons this episode took me hours to sit through. Apologies that it took so long!)
Apparently, ever since Zak and Co. (…)

  • GA: Remington Arms

    by Stephen
Due to popular demand, I'm going to be posting reviews of Ghost Adventures episodes here on the blog. (…)

  • GA: Idaho State Prison

    by Harry
Last night was the "season finale" of Ghost Adventures, but it felt more like the "season suicide." At times, it was like watching an Ed Wood classic like Plan 9 From Outer Space; my jaw literally dropped at what I was seeing (or hearing). (…)

  • GA: Old Idaho Penitentiary - Preview

If you thought it was exciting when the Ghost Adventures team went to Scotland to see a Teddy Bear, just wait until they travel to Idaho to see a Prison! (…)

  • GA: The Edinburgh Vaults

    by Harry
Hey, what's the point of having a ghost chasing show on the Travel Channel if, ya know, you never travel to a cool place? (…)

  • GA: EdinBurgh Vaults - Preview

I didn't realize there was a new episode this week — everyone else seems to be skipping this week's programming but apparently Ghost Adventures is willing to put their ratings on the line during a holiday-week.  Even more interesting, apparently their producers decided to shell out the money for them to go overseas to film in Scotland! (…)

  • GA: Northern New Jersey Asylum (Overbrook/Essex County)

    by Harry
The World Poker Tour and Ghost Adventures are both programs on the Travel Channel. (…)

  • GA: North Jersey Psychiatric Facility

    by Oubliette
North Jersey Psychiatric Facility provided the GA team with an environment sure to test their skills, nerves and investigative abilities to the fullest.  Three guys with minimum equipment but a lot of enthusiasm tackle one of the more daunting tasks-investigating a crumbling facility where specters of staff and patients might still wander down its empty halls. (…)

  • GA: Northern NJ Asylum - Preview

Ben from the Travel Channel has been persistently filling out the Contact form every week to let me (and I'm sure every other paranormal site's administrator) know about the upcoming Ghost Adventures episode.  He's been including an episode preview too, which is cool in the sense that you get to watch a commercial from the Travel Channel without having to sit through any of their programming.  I kid.  I'm a big fan of the World Poker Tour and highly recommend it to anyone who has an interest but suspects watching Poker would be like watching Golf.  Nay, it's much more fun and — I hate to say it — but some people might find it has more action than a typical Baseball game. • GA: Riddle House

I know we're a few episodes into the season (and the series) but I finally decided to sit down and watch one of the new Ghost Adventures investigations. (…)

  • Halloween with… Ghost Adventures?

The Travel Channel is pushing heavily for exposure on their new "Ghost Adventures" show.  The channel may not have the greatest street-cred in the paranormal community (*cough* Most Hauxted *cough*) but I was impressed when I saw the two-hour "Ghost Adventures" documentary, which offered up a fresh type of investigation where the investigators are the only ones on-site (no camera or audio crew, just a couple of guys with camcorders) and the evidence consists of things we can actually see and hear on the recordings. (…)

  • Ghost Adventures

A few folks have mentioned they wanted me to review a two-hour documentary called "Ghost Adventures".  I saw it when it first aired and there did appear to be a couple of pieces of compelling evidence in there. (…)
