Revenant @ 2:40 am

I got a chance to listen to the interview this afternoon. Quite good. It was funny to hear how they were both kicked out and ultimately banned from the Stanley Hotel in Colorado. I have also been kicked out and ultimately banned from various locations so I can feel their pain. Of course, my experiences involved much more bourbon and a bit more of the ultra-violence. Anyway…

As fate would have it, tonights episode of "Ghost Adventures" dealt with the Stanley Hotel. And…right on que, they launched into the "it's built on quartz and limestone." If the guys were watching the show, they must have been throwing bricks at the TV… :)

Stephen @ 12:32 pm

Never throw bricks at Zak! It only makes him stronger!

Baxter @ 2:51 pm

We were actually giving a historical tour and educating our audience about what's really under the Stanley! Someone in the tour mentioned that Ghost Adventures was at the Stanley and we all made bets as to whether they would bring that up!

Nosfer @ 8:12 pm

Stephen said: "Never throw bricks at Zak! It only makes him stronger!"

Right…what you have to do instead is gradually float the brick at him. This lures him into a false sense of paranormality and he will freak out about it. Then, while he is flailing about you accelerate the brick to 88mph…

Great podcast. Was listening to it instead of the jet engines of the Mig 31 flying from Mackay to Coen. Something only a nerd would do. ;)

Stephen @ 2:40 am

Had to check it for ghosts.

More seriously, two-thirds of the conversation was coming in over a fairly low-fidelity Skype connection. The windows were open on their end, and I think Bryan was learning to play castanets in the background. (At least partially my fault– I should have asked them to record on their end as well.) I may have overcompensated with some of the effects I was using to try to compensate. I hope that you were still able to enjoy the interview.

I appreciate constructive comments on any audio quality problems. It helps me improve the sound.

Thanks Stephen, as you can see, I'm way behind, but messing with my itunes, I found I can subscribe to a podcast and it will save it for me to listen to later, I may not be able to write as well, but I can listen…and nod off as the old folx we used to make fun of as kids…for me, that was the 70's and my Great Uncle who I loved dearly was very good at it, tradition carried on by my Uncle Frank, who is an expert and can go out like a hypnotist said "sleep". I can now do it while actually scratching a lottery ticket…wake up to the sound of my pocket knife hitting the floor, I feel I have a small idea what narcolepsy is like. Why the record feature will com in handy!

Thanks,
Bill
