Change of Management

As many of you have heard, Logisti (also known as Mike), this site's founder and administrator, is stepping down due to professional obligations. He has offered me the opportunity to take over the site, and I have accepted the offer.

Logisti has done an amazing job building this site, reviewing the shows, and co-hosting the podcasts. I hope he continues to contribute here as time and life permit.

Logisti, thank you for creating Skeptical Viewer, and thank you for your trust. I hope that I can fill the role as well as you did.

I would like to thank Logisti for everything he has done to make this site awesome. I hope you all the best in the free time you must now possess.

ginrog @ 2:32 am

Oh, and on a side note, congrats Stephen we know you won't screw it up.

Learjet @ 5:24 am

Yes, thank you Logisti for the site and your past efforts and many thanks Stephen for continuing it for us.

CoolMommy @ 3:21 pm

More updates on the new season(s) pls!

Awaba @ 7:15 pm

kill the annoying animated ads!!!!!

Stephen @ 11:22 pm

I'll be posting something soon about the posts schedule. I'm in favor of fewer ads, but am making changes slowly as I get used to the interface– I don't want to wreck this place by accident.

TP @ 7:02 am

Best of luck, Mike. You will be missed.

Stephen!!! Congrats and thanks for keeping this going. 2 suggestions… Please remove the ads and replace the forum, it stinks.

Nosfer @ 10:47 am

TP…could you be more specific? What about the forum stinks? The forum is much easier to navigate and use than the Comments section and allows for a much broader range of discussion. The Comments could become a subset of it because quite often (at least in the past) there would be parallel discussions going on in both places about the same things which gets rather frustrating. Reviews (if seen fit to be continued) could be a specific section of the forums and thus navigated and displayed easier.

Also, a big thanks to Mike for his efforts and for establishing this place for us and a further thanks to Stephen for taking it over and continuing it.

To Logisti:

Thank you for creating this site and maintaining it for so long. It has become a very unique corner of the web. By stepping down, it feels like we've lost a good friend. I feel like we should do something grand…like give you a Viking funeral. I know you're not dead…but, to us…you kind of are now. So, we're just going to go ahead and put you on a wooden boat with straw and set you on fire so you can take your rightful place in Valhalla. And I don't want to hear the screaming of "Wait! No! I'm not dead! I'm not dead!" Dude…whatever. It's symbolic! Just do this one last thing for us and die like a damn Viking! Man…

To Stephen:

So…you have pulled the sword from the stone. Nice. Thank you. We shall begin working on your Viking boat as well…I mean, it's always good to be prepared. Plus…we just like burning stuff…

Nosfer @ 12:00 pm

Rev: Or….

"I'm not dead…I'm getting better…I don't want to go on the boat [cart]…I feel fine…I think I'll go for a walk…I feel happy…I feel happppyy…ooof"

Anyone else notice that since Logisti …ahhemm…."stepped down" and Stephen …ahhemm…."accepted the offer to take over", Logisti has been nowhere to be seen/heard/found?

I'm just saying….

Awaba @ 7:46 am

he ate him – definitely!

Stephen @ 4:22 pm

There is certainly no truth to the rumors that I murdered Logisti via repeated blows with a K-2 meter during a visit to the Race Rock Lighthouse on Thursday, July 8th, 2010 at 5:33 PM Eastern time. It is certainly false also that I afterward ate his body with a spinach salad, side of potatoes, and a decent Cabernet. Most of all, it is completely false to say that I have continued my critical analysis of ghost hunting shows to make sure that any ghost or ghosts that may have witnessed, participated in, or been victims of any crime committed on that day do not get a chance to talk to the media.

So I hope that puts that rumor to rest.

(Wipes off K-2 meter)

Leslie @ 4:48 pm

Of course we don't believe the rumor!

(It was a Merlot wasn't it)

Awaba @ 5:03 pm

I knew it! The ghost of Sherlock Holmes told me so during a table tapping session.

CrowTRobot @ 11:52 pm

I must say, you've covered your tracks quite well Stephen, or should I say…DUN DUN DUUUUUNNNN….#6.

I've already talked with Grant, and he's going to pull some strings – TAPS will be investigating. Stephen, you'd better gird your loins.

August 2, 2010

Stephen @ 1:03 am

Leslie: That's how the completely nonexistent fight started. I AM NOT DRINKING MERLOT!

Awaba: Ghosts of fictional characters? Must be GHI.

CrowTRobot: I am not a number, I'm a free man! My loin-girding is (mostly) my own business.

Awaba @ 1:11 am

The spirit of Batman told me you'd say that! Ha!

CrowTRobot @ 1:45 am

(Anyone else up listening to Coast2Coast? Topic: Devine Phenomena) ANYway, it's just no way for someone to go: an entree surrounded by spinach and potatoes. True, the wine was a nice touch.

@Awaba: The spirit of Superman told me to tell you to knock it off; he's trying to get some sleep.

To Logisti/Mike: Thank you for providing us with a great site [in general]; for the many excellent EP reviews/blogs you've written [I thoroughly enjoyed reading each and every one]; and especially for providing us all with a place where we could/can freely discuss the shows in the GH franchise, share our views/opinions about TAPS [their methods; evidence; claims; etc] – and other PN related programs; associated teams/individuals – offer constructive criticism, and engage in friendly debate about same and/or the PN in general…without having to walk on egg shells. When I first came upon the site it was refreshing to see same, and nice to find a site where adults are treated as adults…thank you for that.

I haven't posted a whole lot – not nearly as often as I'd like, but have tried to stop by as often as I can to at least read the reviews/discussions [catch up on things] – so, unfortunately, missed my opportunity to discuss your comments/ideas etc further with you….but hopefully you'll be able to stop in now/then down the road to chat with us; even if to just let us know how you're doing. Thanks again for all that you've done, I wish you nothing but the best.

To Stephen: Thank you for agreeing to take things over, nice to know the site will continue on! BTW, just curious if you've had any fava beans lately?
