GH: Fort Ticonderoga
Built by the French in 1755, New York's Fort Ticonderoga has seen a few battles over the years. The intrepid team from TAPS visited to investigate, with the notable exception of one Grant Wilson whose absence was reportedly due to an illness in his family. We wish you and yours well Grant, and I hope your absence won't take too much away from the team's findings.

Snooze fest even without the con man Grant.

I actually enjoyed this episode more than most for the last ~4 years and the only thing I can think of was because Grant wasn't there. Yeah the show still kinda blew but it was more tolerable without that stupid "what the frig" face he always makes.

If the attic room illuminated, then it died down again before Pilgrim's camera was able to swing around to catch it – just how was Kris able to see anything when she was looking in the opposite direction when Tango supposedly noticed it ?
… and just what are the other lights we see as Kris looks out the window ?
The "footsteps" that get faster and faster are interesting, but given the number of steps and their speed, just how b ig was the room above them and shouldn't the steps get closer or further away ?

Wow, it's been a while since I've visited this website, and the tables sure have turned on viewers enjoyment of Ghost Hunters. It seems Grant's jacket antics were the shark jumping event.
I've said this before, but I think they made a mistake when they stopped personalizing the TAPS "family". Yes, Brian was goofy, but he was also entertaining. Donna brought a personality to the show that hasn't been replaced. Stupid as "dude, run" was, it was something that created a buzz.
Unfortunately, the show is now very procedural, with no focus on the people doing the investigations. There are lots of shows doing this kind of thing now, and Ghost Hunters is doing nothing to stand out, except relying on the audience that they had created, which appears to be watching, but almost begrudgingly.
Think back to the times where we would see Jason talking with his wife, Donna talking with walk-in clients, Jason and Grant meeting Brian at the playgrounds, Brian coming back, hat in hand to ask to rejoin TAPS. These events, while undoubtedly scripted, gave fans of the show a taste of humanity, and we felt like we were given some peek into the lives of the cast. That's all gone now, and to me, it now feels equivalent to the "what was that" mentality of Most Haunted.

Well,Patchoulifan, I have to agree, I miss that too.The last time I recall i saw any family scenes were when Jason and his wife were talking about the red mark and scratches he recieved at a client's house in the basement on an investigation.Or when his son broke his arm when they went to Salem,Mass.to investigate and jason had to go home. The team just doesn't feel the same somehow, though I did laugh when Tango was up in the attic at the Iron Island Museum and decided to go "jersey" on the ghosts. The closest thing to what your talking about is when Bruce Tango, father and son go together to investigate with the team.Think it's kind of neat how Dave's dad doesn't call him names for his interest in the paranormal, and actually joins in.
As far as the light Steve and Jason saw, again, we the viewers really didn't see it.That just drives me nuts. I hope someday they investigate Fort Niagra up by Buffalo,Ny.Heard alot of stories on the place.

these shows are full of crap when they show scratches and say things moved. ghost pics are easy to take. they are everywhere and easily captured on cell phones with HD .. i got pics of people cats and dogs so far. and 1 voice evp in polish. yes i understand polish. ghosts cant hurt anyone. all the drama of these shows is for nothing. i say for nothing because i take photos everywhere…and the ghosts are every place i snap a photo. so i now see one sad fact….no heaven..no hell..no God or Devil. religions of the world including satanic and witch craft can stop now and find a new hobby.

From "Ghost Hunters are con men" to "there is no God". Wow, your logic is beyond comprehension.
I am proud to know someone who knows all things and with your cell phone, you can prove there is nothing beyond what you can see.
I hope you never go blind because then we would all cease to exist.
