GHI: Monte Cristo
Much to my chagrin, this next GHI adventure had nothing to do with turkey, ham, cheese, or deep fried goodness. Well, I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up, but I certainly was surprised to discover an investigation titled "Monte Cristo" wasn't going to take place in Europe, not even a fictional one. No, this investigation was to take the team to the land down under for an investigation into a location reputed to be Australia's most haunted house.

Why is it that the cleaned up audio sounds WORSE than the raw audio? I wish they had played it raw as the cleaned version sounds like crap!

Exactly my thoughts – Whatever they have to do to "clean up" the audio actually distorts the normal audio. This seems to be a new technique, or perhaps for some reason they are simply showing us the amount of manipulation they need to do in order to hear these EVPs. I suppose with enough "cleaning up" a train whistle could sound like the Gettysburg Address.
