Jay on Eddie McClintock: "He's a real skeptic, just like us."
I wouldn't take that if I were you, Eddie.
During an interview with the camera Grant either said, "Unfortunately we have Eddie McClintock with us" or "You know fortunately we have Eddie McClintock with us," and I can only assume it must have been the latter but I played it back three times and still wasn't entirely certain; especially considering Grant's followup about McClintock, "He's a good friend, and he's skeptic." No, not a typo — Grant did not say "he's a skeptic," simply "he's skeptic". Barring some new use of the word as an adjective (He's also fly!) I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest Grant may have been a little distracted when this investigation was recorded. By what I honestly couldn't even speculate (and you know I'd like to).
Although I do have to give credit where credit is due: During the walkthrough their host was talking about Kachina dolls jumping off the shelves at customers and Eddie quickly asked if there was any seismic activity in the area, which is good, but when she mentioned that the "people who work and people who live here" heard voices coming from a specific area on the ground floor of a building Grant immediately jumped on the "people who live here" part and discovered that there is a couple living directly beneath the area in question, and another living directly above the area. Of course, what he does with this information remains to be seen at this point (in fact, these voices weren't discussed during the Reveal portion of the investigation), but maybe — just maybe he'll suggest people might be hearing one of the couple through the floor or ceiling. Or maybe he was just asking where they lived so he could interview them about their "paranormal" experiences
It was Jay's turn to advertise the Spalding Inn during this investigation. If there's one thing these plumbers/ghost hunters are clearly experts at, it's marketing.
Surprisingly, and perhaps gratifyingly, virtually nothing happened during the investigation and no evidence was captured that led the team to a paranormal conclusion. I expected this to be much longer, but the most interesting thing that happened was Kris & Amy heard (one time) a noise that seemed to be one of the panes of plexiglass in the museum displays flexing slightly — something they immediately acknowledged could be caused by a slight change in air pressure. Even their host wasn't too disappointed TAPS hadn't found anything. The elephant in the episode was a set of (radio?) towers that seemed to be flooding the area with high EMF — Jay suggested this may have caused some of the reports and that it definitely prevented TAPS from conducting a full investigation (really? you need the K-II's that badly?) but those being the most unfounded claims of the investigation means this investigation gets pretty high marks in science and accuracy — high marks for TAPS, you know maybe a B-

Memorable(?) Quote #2
"As an added bonus, we have our Good Friend Eddie McClintock…."
'Good Friend'….I did NOT see that one coming!

Nosfer, say it isn't so. I'm actually beginning to think they are spinnng a wheel with Syfy star's pictures (similar to Wheel of Fortune) in order to select a winning appearance (with paycheck) for at least one lucky (or unlucky) actor per season. Oops! I actually meant a "good friend" who wanted to really investigate with GH. The Warehouse 13 cap was to remind us exactly what show they were currently promoting. Shameless. Talk about being owned by a network. I'm surprised they didn't have him say "Imagine Greater" as well.

Is it just me, or did Eddie seem none too thrilled with being there? Unenthusiastic because he's a skeptic? Maybe. Unenthusiastic because he was forced to be on GH by his management and the network? Most likely!

Do you ever think that some of these episodes are more like a mob flash than an investigation?
Memorable quote #3
Steve and Tango are outside the museum.
Steve says, "Are you out here with us? We're outside!"
Lady/manager, towers or no towers, if you think these nomadic numbnuts are ever going to darken your door again….I've got some oceanfront property near you I'll let you have cheap.
As far as Eddie, I don't think it was so much as being a skeptic or unenthusiastic, as it was him appearing not to be too bright.

Could have been worse, though!
Steve and Tango are outside the museum.
Steve says, "Are you out here with us? We're inside!"

I think they're bringing on these actors and inter mixing with DT cause the ratings are falling. The location pool must be draining cause this place was about as exciting as melting ice. They must have changed their minds and are now targeting locations with gift shops.

@ Depodan ~ "They must have changed their minds and are now targeting locations with gift shops."
Agreed but… umm… *cough, cough*, changed their minds? This has been an ongoing comment discussed in many a thread/review for quite some time now on this site. *cough, cough*. A good call nonetheless.

Noticed again that Techmangler Steve has five cameras setup on the multi-image screen, but he only points out three.
This always is strange, as it would seem that calling out ALL the equipment you setup would show what a thorough investigation you are doing.
In past episodes, I was able to figure just where a "missing" camera was and in some cases it should have caught some questionable activity, so I'm always skeptical when cameras are left out.
