GH: The Mount

It's been a while since we've seen a full episode dedicated to a single investigation and I must say I greatly prefer it. Starting it off by having Kris Williams call Jay & Grant on their cellphone while they're fixing some guy's boiler and just happen to have a camera crew with them I could live without, but c'est la vie.  The location for this investigation was a 49.5 acre estate known as "The Mount" which boasts not only a four-story mansion built in 1902 but also a three-story stable and two-story cottage.

Joining our regularly scheduled Ghost Hunters for the evening was not only the semi-ubiquitous Krystyn Gartland but also the should-be ubiquitous Britt Griffith, a man who's name properly reflects the sheer awesomeness of his persona.  We first saw Britt helping Jay & Grant out at the San Diego Maritime Museum and I was impressed with him immediately. Since then he's apparently created two new devices for TAPS to play with, one of which opens up a whole new type of verifiable evidence.

Britt's new EMF detector steps into a crowded niche, but it does bring something new to the table: it emits white noise when it detects an electro-magnetic field and the strength of the field is reflected in the volume of the tone emitted. His second device is in a league of its own, though. Similar to a seismograph, Britt's Geophone can be placed on any surface and a series of LEDs will light up when vibrations are detected. It's sensitive enough that it can pick up very light taps on a floor or loud noises (like clapping) in the air. Britt thought of the idea after he and Grant felt someone walking on the upper deck of the Star of India but were unable to provide evidence of that beyond their personal account of what they experienced.

Unfortunately for Britt, he was probably the most interesting thing about this investigation. Jay & Grant started off the with the FLIR as usual and began to hear undocumented noises, also as usual. Of course the noises were mostly described as "footsteps" although Jay described one noise as someone dropping a bowling ball (which begs the question of why we didn't hear any recording of these sounds) and then they happened upon a thermal anomaly; in this case, a handprint on a door. At this point, I don't think I can simply take them or their crew at their word and assume no one from TAPS or Pilgrim touched that door prior to filming the handprint.

I wish I could have more trust in them, but it seems to me they've proven they do not deserve such trust and leaving a warm handprint on a door is just too simple to fake — it would literally take one person less than five seconds of having no one looking at them, and suddenly everyone else thinks they're seeing something intriguing. If the handprint had been seen from thirty feet away at the end of the hall I might be a bit more open to the explanation TAPS clearly prefers, but the handprint is one or two strides away from the thermal camera when we first see it. Also, I'm aware that Jay said the print was 10 inches long, but we have no way of verifying it was even made by just a single hand (the two marks at the bottom of the "palm" could have just been fingers from a second hand) and even if it were, I didn't see Jay get that 10" estimate with something scientific like say, a ruler — and I'm not going to play "if the glove don't fit you must acquit" with Mr. Grant Wilson.

From the handprint Jay & Grant followed the sounds they'd been hearing upstairs and interestingly seemed to find the room they were coming from. This was intriguing, as the sounds were clearly audible to us on the recording, they did seem close as if they could have been from inside the room and as an added bonus Jay & Grant sat still while one of Britt's geophones was lain in the center of the room. The most interesting part was that it picked up no vibrations whatsoever in relation to the sounds, which continued. Jay tapped gently on the floor and proved the geophone was working very well, but whatever was causing the sounds was not causing any vibration on the floor.

Over in the cottage Krystyn and Britt were conducting an EVP session when they (and we) began to hear sounds in the background. Britt believed it was someone calling out, "Help me" or possibly "Hello?" and Krystyn seemed to agree. Heck, even I'll agree it did kind of sound like that but I had a feeling it wasn't — and it wasn't. It was a tape backup drive on the computer in the next room which had begun to run the scheduled nightly backup. In my book, Hi-larious — and not any bad reflection on Britt or Krystyn, but just another reminder that it's very easy to trick yourself into giving non-existent meaning to the sounds we hear (or images we see). In this case, if the tape backup had just spun up for a few seconds and then turned itself off, Britt & Krystyn would have never known what caused the sound, would probably ascribe meaning to it and we'd have had that piece of audio played for the client, who would be impressed to hear for himself how clearly the ghosts of the cottage were speaking to us.

Back in the mansion, Jay & Grant were playing with the K-II and Grant marveled how he'd gotten no readings the entire time the meter had been on his knee, but when he set it down on the front of a bench in between his chair and Jason's suddenly the K-II went wild. He noted that it was only active in a small area the shape of a semi-circle, as if someone was sitting on the bench.  I noted that was a bunch of hooey.  What I saw was Jay holding the meter near the front of the bench, which remained blinking actively until he got to the back of the bench, where it stopped completely. Then when he moved it back towards the front of the bench the K-II remained off until it got to the very front edge, at which point it suddenly blinked to life again. The activity was not at all consistent with the location of the meter, but it was entirely consistent with someone trying to make it look that way.

Watching closely, one could see that Jason was moving the meter irregularly and whenever he would move it towards the place where we expected it to light up (because of the description Grant gave) it would light up a second or two later, like a delayed reaction. Of course, by then Jason had randomly moved the meter somewhere else, not necessarily in the same area where it should be lighting up if it were really responding to a phenomena on the bench itself. This was so painfully obvious that between this and all the previous indicators, I'm personally convinced someone in that room was using an electronic device to manipulate the meter. I'm well past reasonable doubt at this point.

An unexpected disappointment came from Dave Tango shortly afterward. Steve was relating a story he'd heard on the initial walkthrough about a girl who'd been on the phone with her boyfriend when she heard a scream but no one else was in the house. The scream was supposedly so loud that the boyfriend heard it also and asked what was going on. Dave started getting a headache and asked for an EMF detector, which he used to home in on an electrical panel in a utility closet that was giving off some very strong EM fields. Now, I believe it's entirely possible that Dave really did experience some EM sensitivity, but since this occurred by the phone he pulled a classic TAPS maneuver and decided the EM fields explained that girl's experience of hearing the scream (hallucination), conveniently ignoring the need to explain how the boyfriend also heard the scream. Sloppy debunking is just as bad as sloppy anything else, and while I expect to see it from Steve on occasion I was very disappointed to see Dave Tango doing it.

Kris & Amy were investigating in a room where it was reported the spirit of a jealous man sometimes touches women's hair when Amy said she really did just feel like someone had touched her hair. She came back with Britt and his new EMF detector to see if they could document anything in that room when suddenly they got a sharp EM spike, illustrated by a sharply rising hum from the device that dropped off as quickly as it rose. While they were trying to duplicate that result Amy heard a sound from the hall outside and mentioned it to Britt. Immediately afterwards she described the sounds that followed as not "mysterious footsteps" but rather the clear sound of an actual person running down the stairs. Since TAPS is all about random made-up "theories" about how ghosts function, I've got a made-up theory of my own — but one I think it very relevant for this situation: "Some people believe" (I have to start all "theories" that way, it's in my contract) that whoever manipulates the K-II was in the hallway trying to manipulate Britt's device, but they had to get pretty close to do it and when Amy heard them move they freaked out and ran down the stairs and crept out of the house.

…it's just a theory.

For a couple of seasons now Dave & Steve's antics have been the "comic relief" of Ghost Hunters, which I haven't been a huge fan of because I found them to be a little too silly sometimes, but this investigation was an exception. Oh, they were entirely too silly, but I found it wholly appropriate. Just a few years back, a woman who was helping run a Shakespearian production outside on the patio saw a man in period clothes looking at from from inside the dining room and he asked her what all this commotion was about, then vanished. Steve & Dave wanted to try and get the attention of that same spirit, and since they weren't watching a play in the middle of the daytime they figured the best they could do was run around like idiots making as much noise as possible and hoping the man might appear to scold them. He didn't, but it was fun to watch and, I thought, a genuinely good idea for an experiment to try and elicit activity. As they were about to leave, a door did mysteriously open right behind Steve; however they were able to determine even a slight breeze could easily have pushed that particular door open…. but did it? Duhn, duhn DUHNNN!

Finally, the only additional piece of evidence caught during the review was upstairs in the stables, Britt, Jay and Grant had left a geophone on the floor and vacated the building. At some point after they left, the geophone picked up a ton of activity, as did the audio on the camera left to watch it — sounds ranging from footsteps to something almost like a drum roll. Unfortunately, again this is something I feel I have to distrust — ironically if it were more subtle I might have been less distrustful, but since I was half-expecting someone to sneak back into the building and bang on the downstairs walls as loud as they could to make sure the geophone picked it up, I was not at all surprised to suddenly hear a raucous.

Ghost Hunters may be the most scientific and most trustworthy show on television examining paranormal phenomena, but the past four seasons have proven that they are not terribly scientific and there is absolutely good reason to mistrust one or more people working on the cast and crew.  I don't like jumping to conclusions but for the purposes of serious debate it would seem the safest thing to do in situations like the handprint or the geophone in the stables where something could have easily been faked, is to assume that it was.  Like many other times when something or someone is caught on camera and Jay or Grant tells us everyone was accounted for and/or no one could have possibly snuck into the investigation area without them knowing, I simply don't find those claims credible. Surprisingly with GHI I actually might. We've seen them doing radio checks and Robb's had good claims on knowing where every member of his team is at a given time, and perhaps not surprisingly these things seem to happen to his team far less frequently.

Oubliette @ 12:40 am

Eagerly anticipate this review. It was full of some new gadgets and also had its share of silliness. The biggest bonus was the tour at the beginning. That is one lovely building and is worth visiting, haunted or not. I would love to go on a tour, and it would have nothing to do with the alleged ghosts.

As usually, GH acted like a bunch of bumbling folks who have little to no knowledge of what the heck they are doing. And taking credit for that vibration detector was simply untrue. It is a mini version of instruments designed to detect even slight movements in the earth's crust. But of course, GH had to claim it as their own.

Stephen @ 1:42 am

As though they're reading our forum months in advance, then plotting ways to stymie us! I had just mentioned under "Ghost Gear" that they might use a seismometer to quantify the whole "bed's shaking" thing. Then they show us exactly how they would use such equipment– by slapping it down with such high sensitivity that a mouse tiptoeing would set it off. Just another set of random blinking lights.

CrowTRobot @ 6:21 am

Stephen said, "Just another set of random blinking lights."

Almost EXACTLY what I said, with the added, "…and of course, it'll go off immediately."

I like that they are trying something new, it just seems the new gadgets are juts varying versions of the K-II meter.

Oh, and it looks like Jason's newest ghost hunting technique is putting his ear to the floor or wall. Probably not a bad thing, just looks a little funny after all these years of NOT doing it – now it's every week.

Learjet @ 8:19 am

Stethoscope, that's what they need. Or giant funnel from ear to floor. Upside down cup?

alicat @ 9:04 am

This is the type of place I'd love to visit as well but not for the purported paranormal aspects. I just love the grandeur of old buildings and architecture and the beautiful grounds, from website pictures, are a definite plus. I wonder though how long it will take for them to get $40 million in donations after all the paranormal promotion/tours that they seem to be heavily promoting throughout their website and the GH and GHI member visits?

On another note, as I watched this episode, I jotted down just a few things I did not hear or see as opposed to what GH stated happened in this episode:

J&G hearing the sound of a bowling ball being dropped
Footsteps in the hall and Edith Wharton's bedroom
"Help me" heard by Kris & Britt or the hiss of storage machine saying "help me"
(I loved the look Kris gave Britt while he shussed her as she was trying to tell
him what she was hearing – boy if looks could kill!)
Amy's head being "patted" near the window
Amy and Kris hearing rustling sounds around the insulation
Tango hearing the knocks in the barn
J seeing head popping in and out of doorway – twice! No camera – no problem

What I did see (again) was the disrespect of a client's property with the antics of Steve and Tango and the music stand. Totally unprofessional in every way as well as being completely childish and outrageous. On the Wharton website they said no one had seen any part of the show (except the guide who saw the reveal) so they were waiting for the broadcast. One can only imagine the comments on Steve and Tango's actions in particular.

During the evidence review, I had to laugh when Tango saw the "orb" in the stable. Being at one time a very rural South Jersey girl who has explored the woods and mucked out many a stable and in that stable encountered many a creature, four-legged and otherwise, I'm just glad Steve did not "see" that "orb" in person. He probably would have passed out and, although it would not have been a good thing, his reaction would have probably been one of the most memorable scenes we have seen in awhile. I think Oubliette may agree with me on this.

On a final note, it was interesting that at the reveal, the gentleman in charge of the Mansion (with a website heavily promoting their paranormal/ghost activity)chooses to say to J&G the he was not expecting them to find much. That one left me scratching my head.

Nosfer @ 9:11 am

The head popping out twice:

As Jason was experiencing this and relaying it to the team, did not Grant continue to shine the thermal through some door PERPENDICULAR to where the supposed head was? Sort of a reversed-role jacket-tug? I saw no "Really, dude?" and an immediate swinging of the thermal to wear the activity was.

alicat @ 9:38 am

Nosfer, Darn it, I just realized I taped over the show last night or I'd go back and re-check. If I remember correctly though, your observation is correct. I actually wondered myself why Grant didn't react quickly before he went into the area when Jason was calling to him about seeing the head popping out.

PatAttack @ 9:41 am

It seems to me that almost every single episode lately, is directed towards a location that is in desparate need for funding or wanting to promote their location for free. They clearly said at the beginning of the episode that they were now giving tours. I'm sure it's not a free tour. Jason, Grant and production crew have no problem jumping to promote a place. Does this not strike anyone as odd? You don't see too many private homes or locales anymore. It certainly makes me scratch my head and wonder if there are any "kickbacks", for promoting a location. I may be straining my brain but it sure is fishy to me. Steve and Tango doing the "White Mans Rain Dance", had me howling with laughter. Total disrespect for the property. A very old place like The Mount will have floorboards, studs in walls, even sheetrock cracking and popping with temperature changes at all times. Jason seeing a head pop out twice. We still grind our teeth over this nonsense. I did'nt see anything in this episode that impressed me very much. Until next time, Geophone home.

Oh yes, I'm still a rural South Jersey girl, woods, trails, horses (I have one) and all. I even happen to like bats, something which must drive him crazy. Steve wouldn't last an hour.

Could you imagine Steve walking in the Pine Barrens? Freak out time!

StanTheMan @ 10:24 am

Especially if he ran into the missing, wounded Russian from the Soprano's!

Stmoritz @ 10:35 am

Good evening forum,

Just as a quick comment, in one of the other forum discussions, a comment revolved around the teammates being gender disciminated, low and behold as I watched, sure enough girls go with girls, and boys with boys. And in the tech session, no women helping in the review. Hmm, the things I find out on this forum, LOL.

As for the new toys, I am a former contractor in the middle east, and I had to laugh at the vibaration gadget. What really did they expect to find and document with that, the floors creaking, but to expect footsteps of paranormal activity. Give me a break.

Why oh why to I continue to watch this show, LOL—at least in GHI we are seeing some beautiful world locations. And you are right in your observations, it sure seems to be a show now about promoting locations for ghost tours, or commercial locations.

Regards,

Stmoritz

Hal @ 10:48 am

Greetings, fellow skeptics. For this latest episode on "The Mount" mansion I'll just give my own rambling thoughts on some various aspects of the investigation.

To begin: The alleged scream heard by the Shakespearean actress while she was talking to her boyfriend on the phone could have come from another actress rehearsing her lines in another part of the house. Of course, no one bothered to explain if that possiblity was even checked out, as I recall.

The huge handprint J&G found on the door; big deal! I'm gonna guess the Pilgrim cameraman left it and didn't want to say anything or just wasn't aware he did it.

J&G heard footsteps . . . again. What VERY LITTLE audible noise I could make out sounded more like a little knocking. When is TAPS going to understand that footsteps, by definition, are usually very consistent and sound more like "click-clock, click-clock, click-clock." (Duh!) Even later on, during the reveal, when "Laurel & Hardy" played the recording of the "footsteps" it STILL did not sound like any damn footsteps! In fact, it sounded even less like footsteps then than it did earlier when they first heard them! But, what does the host do? He sits there, dumbfounded, so impressed by this high-tech. "scientific" discovery and makes no attempt at all to disagree the slightest bit with what he was TOLD he was hearing! Can anyone say, "I sure hope plenty of viewers are gullible enough to believe this crapola so we get lots of visitors to The Mount this summer!" (?) Admission is: $XX.00 ages 12 to 85, $XX.00 ages 6 – 11 & children 5 & under half price! (Sorry folks, I couldn't resist that last line! ;) )

Up in the attic, I believe, J&G whip out the old K-2 meter again! ACKKKKK!!!!! When are they going to stop insulting our intelligence with that useless device?!! Well, maybe it's good for one thing. According to Grant, it can be used to detect a ghost's ASS!!

And their newest spook-hunting toy, the Geophone!! What a load of lard! Like someone already pointed out, it's just a seismograph! A very sensitive one at that, as Jay demonstrated with his clapping hands. Hell, just the natural settling of a house that old would probably set the thing off! Thank goodness they didn't put down a flashlight with a loosened switch on one end!!

Then out in the other building, with the 3 stooges minus 1 (a.k.a. Steve & Tango), Tango starts to suffer one of those strange EMF headaches. FCOL! I think he was actually suffering from "Steve stress," waiting for the inevitable put-down that Steve usually hurls in his direction! :) When Tango asked the spirit to "Knock three times on the ceiling" did anyone else besides me finish his line with "if you love me?" ;) (Whoops! There I go revealing my age again!)

Then there was the head popping in and out of the doorway, twice, which Jay saw but could not show the rest of us, AGAIN, because of his continuing, jackass refusal to be a serious ghost hunter and put a head cam on his chrome dome!!

Lastly, I saved my final comment for my favorite part of the show: watching Amy and Kris in tight sweaters and even tighter jeans squirming their way around the attic. Amy felt something patted her on the head. Hmmmm. If ghosts are real and I was a ghost hanging out in that attic I would have patted each one of them on their cute little fannies. That would have been way more startling for both of them and a whole lot more entertaining for us!! ;)

@ PatAttack

This has been the subject of many a comment. I have noted this myself in the past and on this particular location on this site's Wharton forum. These places seem to be "cash cows" for both GH and the particular location. For instance, at this location, Dustin and Barry are doing an "event" for $125 a ticket less than one month after the episode airs. Check out the forum and/or the Wharton website.

Same goes for the upcoming Georgia Aquarium/Titantic exhibit which has been advertising GH's appearance. Again, they are fundraising and, again, a GH affiliate is giving paranormal tours. You can see that in the forum as well.

And yet again, the Betsy Ross House.

These places (whether historical or not) are in dire need of funding for restoration, etc. and their sources are drying up, especially in this economy. They have already done the tried and true fundraisers and fees which apparently have not worked to their satisfaction. Those in the tuxes are also cutting back on their donations. So, to mount a highly successful campaign, they have to think "outside the box" and determine an alternative source. "Hey, I was here late on a windy night, I know this place is old and there may be mice or creaking floor boards or snow on the roof but I think I heard noises and saw a shadow, maybe there are ghosts? Can we say that? Yes, there is no one to dispute it. It was a personal experience." So, contact is made with GH, an "investigation" is shot at the location and now your location is broadcasted on national television which gives national/international exposure and an increase in funding because now everyone wants to see a ghost or have a paranormal experience.

So, the benefits for these places are:

1. Free PR/advertising by GH/GHI or affliates
2. National recognition as opposed to only local
3. Monetary donations, visitor fees and gift shop receipts

And Hal, I thought the same thing about the knock 3 times! LOL

Nosfer @ 11:04 am

Alright, I just had to do it and rewatch part of this. There are two things that just scream out to their incompetence. Well, there are a lot more than just two things, but I'm only going to touch on two in this post.

Jason sees the head pop out twice, Grant DOES continue to film at a direction 90 degrees away from this (it's a regular camera, not the FLIR) There is a bit of a scene cut or something so I'm not certain of direction, but Jason continues to talk about hearing sounds from down the hall and Grant says he hears it to (as he continues filming 90 degrees away from where Jason is indicating) Jason is glad that Grant hears it, too (though does not do anything to capture possible video evidence) and exclaims that he is glad that it's not "his ears playing tricks on him" Doesn't Grant's complete lack of caring remind you of Jason's complete lack of caring when Grant was getting his collar tugged?

Second item that just makes me shake my head. Evidence review. Steve is sitting there reviewing the camera footage on a large flat screen monitor. On the monitor we can see that he is reviewing SIX scenes at once. SIX. Let me say it again in case you missed it. SIX! I'm sure he's paying very close attention to all SIX at the same time (and each of those SIX takes up 1/9th the screen so the big-screen effect is lost) Did I say SIX?

Oh…Hal…it looks like the flashlight will be back next week!! Can't wait!

PatAttack @ 11:44 am

@ alicat

I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that pretty soon, real soon, we are going to see an investigation on The Spalding Inn. Then two weeks later Team members from GHI, since they are on hiatus will be giving a "Night with Ghost Hunters", tour of The Spalding with special room rates. Didn't they already offer this with the Mount Washington investigation? I think things are becoming real clear on the intent of our favorite "Ghost Frauds". Your information just made an orb appear above my head. I think I'll call TAPS.

alicat @ 12:43 pm

Yes, again we have cross promotion. Why else would J&G mention they brought in GHI to "investigate" an Inn they purchased? GHI is an investigation group created only for a television show. After the cameras are turned off, they do their own thing and not together. I'm just waiting for the episode and the supposed claims the Inn has had a paranormal reputation for 70-80 years. The Inn isn't mentioned on any sites at all as being a haunted or paranormal location and, from what I've found, has absolultely no reputation for paranormal activity. In fact, I've said it before and I'll say it again, the only mention of the site having any reputation (other than a nice family Inn) was when J&G announced they were purchasing the Inn and, in a supposed off handed remark, J mentioned that he and his wife had a few experiences when they were staying in the area. At that point the legend began and the "few experiences" by one or two graduated to a 70-80 year history.

Suggestion: don't let that orb come down and sit beside you! I was on a "ship's ladder" built onto a cinderblock tack room wall trying to close a tilted window while holding on to the ladder when a did a double take and found my hand hovering not more than 4" over that type of orb and the size of my hand. Needless to say, I immediately dropped about 10' to the dirt floor and ran towards the house screaming. My father met me half way and went into the tack room. It took him quite a bit of time to take care of the situation with a shovel and a few other pieces of equipment. That is what is called life in the "sticks" as they use to say.

Revenant @ 2:33 pm

Some very nice observations by Alicat about the financial side of ghost-hunting. I think we have all seen a very weird twist this season thus far in them investigating locations where people can go, visit, perhaps stay over night, and most of all…spend money. So much for "Hi! We're TAPS! We're here to help."

Anyway, the part of the show that made me tilt my head a bit was the handprint that they picked up using the FLIR. They seem mystified by not only how it got there, but the size of it. Ten inches across. They made it seem like it was a "giant" handprint.

I don't know how tall Jason and Grant are. I've never shaken their hands so no clue how big their hands are. But after the show, I measured my hand (by just spreading my hand out and measuring from tip of the thumb to tip of the pinkie). It measured nine and a half inches. I'm 6'2"…I don't think that makes me a giant. I would have to believe that my hands are normal size for my height. I mean they don't seem abnormally large. I never get any "hey, look at the guy with the freakishly big hands" comments.

So, not sure why all the amazement over the size of the handprint. We also never see the camera crew that goes with them. We don't know how tall they are. We also don't know if maybe, just maybe, one of the crew used his hand to steady himself against the door while walking through a completely darkened room. Doesn't that seem a bit more reasonable then thinking that it was paranormal?

Nosfer @ 3:01 pm

Agree…Alicat's mention of the Dustin n' Barry tour is exactly on. A symbiotic relationship that has been formed between Hunter and Hauntee. As for being there to help, well, I think it is more of a creative editing than anything else. Part of what Grant says is edited out, you see. They come in and Grant actually says: "Hi, We're TAPS, We're here to help you get out of the financial slump you've gotten into" :)

Nosfer @ 3:23 pm

Well, when you see Jason counting fingers, his hand is in the thermal, and even if it's not exactly touching the wall, the difference in size of his hand and the print is not very impressive. I'm not sure exactly what he's trying to measure in the other shot, where they split the screen with Thermal on left and IR on right.

I recall one other episode where they went around asking everyone if someone had lain on a bed or sat in a chair and one of the gals admitted that she had, which explained away the signature. Geez, they won't even do something like that now (or at least not show it…and if they had done it and no one fessed up, I think they would have shown it as further proof that no one had made the mark.)

Oubliette @ 3:44 pm

Stan-The Sopranos' Pine Barrens scene was filmed in NY State, but they made no secret of this fact, unlike some of the stuff GH tries to pull off which isn't quite true. At least we know the Sopranos was fiction, while GH continues to be a quasi-real show, at best.

I've said it many, many times. How can you have an investigator on your team who is afraid of creepy crawlies just like a little girl would be? Most of these places, esp. their basements and attics, contain all kind of such creatures. An investigator is of little use if he or she has such phobias. Best to keep that person at command central monitoring the screens.
