I guess me and Grant…..and Jason are alone in this, but I thought the fire hydrant, that looked to be just outside the house, could cast a shadow through a window and onto the wall that would look like a small figure (little boy) if headlights hit it just right. Perhpas a bit of a stretch; but no more so than the belief that the ghost of a little boy is peaking over your couch.
I really hope GH doesn't turn into a GHI nothingness. Like others on this website have observed, it almost looks like J & G are just 'mailing it in' now. Of course, it's possible they are as unhappy as we are with what's happening to their show and just don't care as much anymore.
A final thought/question: If a residual haunting is just a replay of an event/life/whatever, wouldn't the "reply" have the spirits asleep at night, therefore unavailable for a TAPS broadcast?

This is the very first podcast that I have listened to and great job guys! This was a very interesting and informative session.
I do have an issue with the flying bag. I have seen this episode on several occasions. Being a woman I carry a very heavy purse or tote/book bag. In all my years I have never snagged it on anything in such a way to make it come straight up and sock me in the face.
The strap slips down and you lean to the side. You catch the strap on a door handle, not all that unusual for me and you whip backwards. I imagine that sound bag is a lot heavier than my purse or book bag and I can not imagine what it could have caught on to have made it do that.
Even is as you say something caught Brian's attention to make him turn, we still see the bag lift straight up, not a jerky motion like the picture frame and hit him in the face. You also do not see his arm holding the boom move to cause the boom to catch on the strap. But that may be just me…..
The sensitive issue is something that I think you got spot on. I do believe that many people have some limited ability to sense or intuit things. These folks get more wrong than right. The true sensitive is few and far between. But there is also such a stigma still about this topic that I bet it scares some of from talking about it. John Edwards does not impress me nor has he ever.
The Attleboro House left me wanting better from this group. They need to go back to the way they did things last season. They really tried to debunk and were willing to find alternatives and at least give the owners a bit more respect.
Great job again guys I love this this site, even when we disagree

Chip Coffey
Pet Cemetery
Chips psychic ability is nothing less than remarkable or extravagantly fanciful. For some reason my baloney detector started violently beeping.
After watching the episode I decided to visit Chips Home Page. Chip Coffey claims he is clairvoyant, clairaudient and clairsentient psychic, as well as a fully-conscious medium, paranormal Investigator, Lecturer and Writer.
Chip explains he completely by passes his five human senses. He often "sees" images or short videos" and "hears" the messages, although not as if the words are actually being "spoken.Chip does not regularly see dead people, although he has in the past. He feels and senses the energy of the spirits around him.
I found this claim to be confusing and lacking clarity of meaning. Understanding something outside of the five senses is perplexing to someone who lacks the knowledge.
Is there an internal sense that is normally stimulated from within the body that involves numerous sensory receptors in internal organs that are neurologically linked to the brain?
Is communication about the information or about the experience?
Is it possible to by pass our five senses?
Is it possible to communicate if we bypass our senses?
If it is possible to bypass our senses to communicate, would it allow information to be passed on to communicate.
The proposition may suggest by passing the five senses is to abandon or suspend all logic and common sense.
I find there is a close relationship with psychic claims and a person having an overactive “imagination”. The association or the relationship seem to be uncanny.
Imagination is accepted as the innate ability and process to invent partial or complete personal realms within the mind from elements derived from sense perceptions of the shared world. The formation of a mental image of something that is not perceived as real and is not present to the senses, the ability to form mental images of things or events.
Is this a coincidence, or can it be used to analyze whether two definitions are related. A coincidence does not prove a relationship but related events which may be expected to have a higher index of coincidence. From a statistical perspective, coincidences are inevitable and often less remarkable than they may appear intuitively. If there is a strong inference that if things agree in some respects they probably agree in others drawing a comparison in order to show a similarity in some respect.
Chip has a policy at the start of a spirit contact reading. All clients are asked the name of the person he/she wishes to communicate with, how long it has been since the loved one passed away and the relationship that the client had with the deceased.
I was very surprised that Chip would start a reading with a considerable amount of information being provided by the client.
Chip can now start his reading with the name of the person deceased, the relationship and the length of time which has passed since the time of death.
Chip has increased his chances for more hits on his questions. The psychic has now created what is known as a hot reading. The psychic has obtained advance information about the person being read. There is now plenty of room for interpretation to increase Chips accuracy. He has conditioned the client to play by the psychic's rules. A common practice for any psychic is to rely on the subjects co-operation.
Should people consult with a psychic? Is there any harm in psychic readings? It may be a rhetorical question which is asked to have a persuasive effect, rather than to elicit an answer. It may be easier to conceive that what hurts you more is not what you don't know, but what you know that isn't so.

Lately, I’ve been going through your podcasts here and some interesting points have been brought up. Listening to audio is easier than reading,
Re: Soundman-Bag Incident
I suspect that a genuine “unnormal” event would occur very rarely – say, every few years. And, the GH’s finally caught something interesting. That soundman-bag incidence still stands out as likely paranormal or, at least, preternatural. I tried some experiments, myself, with a bag, and you can forget about it jumping up wildly like that, regardless of possibly being caught on something. Also, you have to ask yourself why the soundman fell in the first place? In his own words: “Something went through me!” My first thought was that a big difference in air pressure was made by someone opening one of those big hanger doors, or something like that? But this is unlikely as no one else appeared to be affected. The only other possibility is that the footage was deliberately CG’ed and altered to show the bag violently jumping up. It’s sad that more investigation wasn’t done on this incident and presented. It would be good to have a special episode showing “the best of” GHs with added details focusing on the more unusual events.
Anyway, have fun guys!
BTW – I can’t get that audio bar to work. The voices come out in sped up like chipmunks. But the direct link works.
